F2P here, totally possible. Events drown you in hammers and anvils so you can pretty easily make +3 gear with good stat bonuses on it. You'll just need the patience to get through the odds. Max leveling/career advancement, as mentioned, takes time but isn't unrealistic. I don't even really play that often and I've got some characters on the highest career level, which was introduced some time last year and I haven't really played much since putting someone on it. Didn't take long. The game pretty much doesn't require any money from you to do anything except buy pulls.

Pretty much. Event characters give you a point boost if they're in your team. There's also a special map that can randomly open. It costs 2000 bread and doesn't actually give any points, but it can drop fairy sake and event 4/5* envelopes so it's probably worth doing.

Rachel is competent ranged DPS, kind of like a monster slayer with less favored enemy shenanigans (unless you count mermen after 2AW) and more all-around damage. I kind of wish she went El Drago, because dodge tokens are incredible, but otherwise the only reason not to raise her is if you already have lots of ranged blacks. Anita is by far the worst unit in the shrine, being inferior to Leda in every single way, but may do a complete 180 and become good if Dev Tea realizes Trickster was a bad idea and removes enemy buffing from it.

This doesn't really mean much of anything and only mentioning it in case someone else tried it, but Idol Warz gave out 110 normal tickets, 6 SSR tickets, and about a dozen SSR rate boost tickets for reaching 1.6m players or something.

But you need 4 of a girl (origina+3dupes) to unlock the last half of an imagined scene, then evo that for the real scene. There's items that do it too but those are rare. The game is an archaic mess on top of that so... Yeah, not sure why I'm mentioning this.

Don't you worry. Eventually you won't know what to do with them cuz they never come out with new gacha SRs anymore. Event SRs are easy enough to get and you can't use the items on DF panel mission SRs anyway. Then you'll either be using your SR dupes for skill fodder and rare medals, or selling them for AW medals to buy mats from the shop.
For the SSR ones, just keep logging in, or buy em after doing the DF panel missions if you're caught up on all the SRs from the shop. If you ever start swimming in SSR dupes, be on the lookout for the trade gacha that rolls around every once in a while, and drop off whatever you're hoarding.

I've never really paid too much attention to the stats; most of the time you can just get away with the auto optimized things, with occasionally identifying high cost idols with overpowered crutch skills. If I'm not doing DF panel missions, the way I usually play is join at the last minute, fire off "that one skill," and sometimes that just wins the entire match, depending how actively people have been buffing/debuffing.
Anyway, I'm surprised I've been at it for so long too. But I'm sure I wouldn't put up with it if it weren't possible to abuse multiple tabs and the back button to speed up parts of the game.

While the EN version is a train wreck and the game itself is grindy, has many flaws, I love it because the unique experience of each challenging map and each hero is unique in in its own way.
Also character art is very nice. Everyone has Live2D art.

It's a raid boss, Kanpani endgame content. It gains massive boost in stats and change its attack patterns after each 10 stages clear.
It's quite overwhelming for new players due to the massive difficulty spike but you aren't supposed to clear all the stages. Ideally you should clear enough stages to unlock the 2nd option for accessory customization, then start farming the raid score to unlock reward and custom your accessory stats.

Yeah, just tap em once and send em out. If there's no event going on that uses it, SP should be going towards getting you through quest bosses, or doing Live battle for a handful of weekly pots and tickets.
If you really need the stuff from scouts for whatever reason, just check your raids every 10 minutes for free hits. It's been a while since I've stopped doing that diligently, so I don't know if they've changed the limits, but you can get around 5~7 freebies before help requests stop coming completely for another 10 minute interval.

Incorrect. It's only available for certain characters right now and those are the ones you got crystals for.

Personally, I haven't found a Raid Event with an enticing enough Gacha to spend on it and have been going at it with 0 Bonuses. Then again, I usually try to get up to fully maxing out the character and consider the rest an acceptable loss. Also, lazy and usually forget to exchange those raid mats that you get.

I think they removed all the gameplay aspects and the only thing you can interact during battles is that speed up button. They also scrapped the job system and repurposed them into normal gacha characters.
Can't really say I have a good impression with the game. Maybe it will get better later after you unlock those functions that's locked behind your account level, but this really reeks of cheap cash grab, instead of improving the old game, it's 90% reused assets with everything dumbed down. Also VIP system.

As someone who more or less actively played the original game when it first came out I'm shocked. The game wasn't that good, but at least it had some depth.

There shouldn't be any problems transferring accounts. Look for the data select button at the bottom left on the title screen.
If you link a fresh DMM account (i.e. one where Kanpani hasn't been linked to a Google/iOS app already), you should be able to transfer your progress to file B. (File A is the save file from DMM's browser version.)
(Also just to be safe, make sure to generate and note down the ID and password, in case something goes wrong.)

IMO, that one is a good fit for Clissa because it's a stat stick option that works well with her SAW's multipliers (near 600 more attack vs the other path) and the post-delay reduction lets hit land her big hits faster. But it doesn't do as much for Reshia since her skill already obliterates her attack delay and her attack mod on skill is very low, so the other path gives her the ability to quickly thrash two opponents at a time.

Really, it's just as dependent on the unit as any other class.

I'd upgrade Rinne to 8-Gates and Elyse to Oracle which are for the most part their strongest 2AW paths.
Daywalker Ema is a healable Undead unit which is pretty great coupled with your healers. Although I personally prefer Carmilla because she synergizes better with my electric zombies and I use as a standalone tanker anyway.

Moltena should go Hellbeast Trainer, no questions asked, even after the other route got buffed a bit. Anri probably wants Golem Master, mostly for the extra magic boost, Minerva is better off with El Drago for the tokens. Sarah can go either way but defensive route is currently better because it's a solid counter for Astaroth's slime worms, which are a major pain in the ass if you don't have Lapis. Socie benefits more from Heavy Bullet in nearly all current maps, Penetrator is only good in hypothetical scenarios involving demons with golem-tier defenses (and even if we get a Kimaris-esque tanky majin, you have Anri). Fiore is better with Forest Queen for most cases, but Queen of Druids isn't a bad choice.

To address some of the ones not already covered in the other two replies:
- Geirölul for Reshia per >>21573784.
- Dai Shogun for Hibari since her skill is her selling point.
- Youkai Swordsman Nurarihyon for Shino for the same reason (unless you want to build a youkai theme team for some reason and even then I'd be skeptical about the other path).
- Hierophant for Liana. Her skill lets her heal paralysis, so not falling victim to it herself is helpful in allowing her to use it.
- I see your "Elyse" is the New Year version, so I'm actually going to disagree with the other poster and say you should go Hierophant with her. It works better with that version's kit and Oracle is better for the original version.
- Ultimate Dragon God Miko for Hakunokami to maximize the damage output of her skill (I think she's still the strongest single target magic attacker with her base skill on this AW2 path, but someone else would have to confirm).
- Your call on Eterna. Her SAW allows her to heal and attack at the same time, so she doesn't really fall into a primary role as healer or AoE nuker until you give her an AW2 path, while still doing the other role anyway. It's more of a matter of what she's doing when her skill is down between team regen or splash range.
- Your call on Saval. Arsene increases the drop rates from AW1 but also makes enemies harder. Trickster has the same drop rate increase as AW1, but the enemies don't become quite as strong.

Oops, thought they were going to go until release. Ended up not rolling the UR for who I wanted but got my number 2 so I'll have to hope gacha is kind.

I don't think they ever said anything about how scenes are unlocked. There was a locked affection meter that would show up after battles in the demo but otherwise there was only the tutorial scene available. Hopefully it's not something dumb like the limit breaking shit they use in Idol Wars.
