Denpa(電波) is a Japanese subculture characterized by its combination of strange and cute themes, coming into existence from within the otaku community. Denpa is mainly expressed through denpa music, which incorporates the strange and cute theming into its composition and writing, though denpa cues also appear in manga, anime and games. Depna subculture and denpa music in particular are both deeply rooted within the galge industry as well as the doujin community, with the two sides giving form and shaping denpa into what it is today.

The purpose of the thread is to share denpa works and discuss denpa subculture.

"Touten no Osusume ~Sepia Greatest Hits~" from 1996 by Manikyua-Dan Sepia.
https://mega.nz/#!wAdCiYxK!hnQcNS8PMfpZspk4W8it00tCcwKnZytUwCM8v9eTVYI

Manikyua-Dan Sepia is comprised of the five original members of Manikyua-Dan (Hosoe Shinji, Ebata Ikuko, Saso Ayako, Sano Nobuyoshi and Sasaki Hiroto) together with Makino Shinji. The album truly carries a sound reminiscent of the 1990s, but incorporates many sorts of silly theming into its songs. There is not much to compare it to, because the only other doujin music circle to have vocals at the time was mplayers RECORD, whose sole accessible album I already linked two threads back.

Let's have something small as to not get lost in the past - two Poyahchio songs about the mythical "joshiryoku"(lit. girl power), the female sense of fashion in modern trends.

From Petit Rhythm Roku

I think these two albums have some pretty well themed tracks. Bread and butter denpa. There is even a translation of one song from Petit Rhythm Roku:

Quite short, but lyrically brilliant.

Really great album, especially liked tracks 2, 3, 4, 5, and 11. Took a look at the lyrics of the songs I liked and they're clever. Felt very pampered by mikobako in track 3 and Choko in track 5. Miracle Edit (track 11) was pretty funny. Can post more pictures of lyrics from the booklet if requested.

I'm glad you like Toromi. (Who doesn't) I was lucky enouth to see her live at DenpaFes 3 years ago. She was on the small stage at Club Asia and I remember she hit me on the head with one of those squeaky hammers.

When have idols otherwise collaborated with denpa producers in the past? I figured before Dempagumi Inc., the line between denpa and idols was mostly Akiba-based idols like Momoi Haruko and Toromi.

This reminds me of something I learned about recently. In 1995, a "lolita-kei" idol collaborated with Troubadour Records and made a guest appearance on their album, though according to the booklet, no more information about her could be disclosed. Unfortunately, she haven't performed with them since and no other information about her identity exists. The following link has a timestamp for the song in question.

In recent memory, Ringo from Bandjanaimon has sung for a few IOSYS songs, and Nagi from Niji No Conquistador was in a song with Miiko, Sensate Sate Sensation (imo the best song on a great album). You are right though, it has only been in recent years since Dempagumi kind of bridged that gap, now it is not uncommon for Miiko and Mosaic.Wav to work on Dearstage groups' songs, even if it is just lyrics.

How did you guys discover denpa as such, that what you were listening to was labeled as denpa?
In my case, I was once listening to goreshit, and then I stumbled across a song called "Kemibu Dance!". I instantly liked it and decided to look up the song it had been based off. It took some time, but I finally found its source (kinda): it had been made by Odenpa Studio. The version I found was from the ぴこみこ album (many thanks for fruitCirculation here). It wasn't the exact song, but it was close enough. Luckily for me, the name of this music genre was embedded into this cute circle's name, and I quickly started to learn about denpa. I realized that I had always liked it: be it from some anime or eroge, I'd always had a thing for this kind of crazy music.

On a side note, it seems like goreshit is also a fan of denpa as some of his tracks feature Toromi and music that sounds really denpaish.

I was incredibly addicted to MOSAIC.WAV around 2006, think I found them thanks to the anime Sumomo mo momo mo. After that I'm not really sure, I think I started to look for more music in Perfect Dark and saw they were tagged as 電波ソング and went from there. Time later I saw someone started a denpa thread on /jp/ and I uploaded what I had which was some KuKuDoDo, Under17, IOSYS, ave new and several other doujin stuff. I was glad to see other people slowly get interested in it, but in turn it made me a lot more passive.

I thought to upload the Morinaga Tohko live appearance clips from the nagobest DVD. It was a 2002 event called "Neruneru Concert", hosted by Neruge's circle Neruneruneruge. The video descriptions contain a link to the event information webpage.

Based on a song Neruge wrote several years before, I think around 1994. As per the description embedded in the video, it was shared in YUTA-NET(likely a grassroots BBS) and later adapted for live performance. Sawatari Kasumi, who composed several songs for Morinaga Tohko, plays the piano. Surprisingly enough, he's also still active on Twitter!

"Inuchikku to Yobanaide"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lRSNdW0TuU
Character image song for To Heart's Akari. Originally produced as an instrumental clip with lyrics, shortly before release Neruge got in touch with Tohko through their mutual contact Kunai Uri, who did some of the art for the albums. The clip was then amended with her vocals, but only later would she be officially included in the full songs. Morinaga Tohko forgot some of the lyrics mid-performance in the live event.

"Neko nandamon"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIyoefUI1Mk
Character image song for Morinaga Tohko herself, as far as I remember. You can see Neruge himself filming from the side of the stage with a video camera.

Denpa has a lot of different meanings depending on the context. 電波系 (denpa-kei) is used to describe that dark aspect you're talking about in VNs. You'll also see people describe characters as denpa-kei, and those characters are strange, mysterious, and don't really seem human. For example think Nagato Yuki from Haruhi. The term 電波ソング (denpa song) for some reason doesn't carry any of those dark/mysterious tones and what will come to a Japanese otaku's mind is a strange catchy moe song like Gacha Gacha Cute or miko miko nurse.

Somewhere along the way the term denpa stopped being associated with a certain murder incident in the 80s. Remember when denpa was used to describe a person who is disconnected from reality? I feel like otaku have reclaimed the term in a somewhat tongue-in-cheek way, since over-the-top moe, cuteness, and sometimes lewdness, as well as the blatant wish-fulfillment in certain songs can be described as something far removed from reality. Although to us by now, a lot of these moe songs have become commonplace and mundane.

>>21495934

The denpa VNs of the 1990s adapted the original meaning with ominous themes and deranged, detached characters. As otaku culture was established in the late 1990s, some bishoujo games dropped the seriousness of drama and horror in favor of the quirkiness of otaku ideals. This change is a product of the early 2000s, and around that time you can see how popular VNs pandered to otaku desires. Miko Miko Nurse was themed after cosplay-induced fetishism, and Figu@mate was themed after gachapon.
As put in the previous thread, there was competition between the term "denpa song" and "moe song" around 2003-2004. Which of them stood the test of time the best, I'm not sure, but fans outside Japan use the word "denpa" the most to describe the music. And though the terminology was new, the music was not - otaku-pandered quirky and cute songs existed even before the term "moe" came into use.

The bottom line is that by the time the terms "denpa song" and "moe songs" came into use, the music was so enveloped in otaku and sex that it couldn't take itself seriously anymore.

Miiko and Kayamori went professional early into their careers. Miiko started doujin activities in 1999 and formed MOSAIC.WAV in 2000. When UNDER17 disbanded in 2004, MOSAIC.WAV took its place as the big player in Akihabara. UNDER17's Masaya Koike tentatively joined MOSAIC.WAV before leaving to pursue his own acts, the same as Momoi Haruko did when she decided to end UNDER17. With MOSAIC.WAV's central spot in Akihabara and the galge industry, Miiko and Kayamori were free to pursue original compositions which they would label Akiba-pop.

Ever since 2004, their style was consistent and they simultaneously produced music for bishoujo games as well as original music. Miiko has also provided voice acting for several bishoujo games. They are long time players in this industry, willing to venture beyond their home field, with anime opening themes, compositions for Konami's Beatmania IIDX games and collaborations with doujin circles. They stuck to a successful formula of cute vocals and quirky synthesizers. Simply put, they've stopped being amateurs.

I am in the process of ripping PROJECT"D" CDs. As I was looking for information on the albums, I thought to read some more into the story behind the quote associated with the titular song of the first CD - "Oniichan doite! Soitsu korosenai!", which means "Big brother get out of the way! I can't kill her!". I believe I wrote of it before, but I think it deserves clarification because of how important to denpa it is. The video below features the two songs of the album in order.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2i5lCozq1_s

This quote stems from an urban legend called "S Prefecture's Tsukimiya Incident". It began with a story circulating between Ragnarok Online (MMORPG popular in Japan in the early 2000s) players about a girl with "denpa" characteristics. The story goes as such:

------------------------------------------------------------
A Ragnarok Online player by the name of 374 who was playing together with a girl which went by the name of Tsukimiya Ayu (after Kanon's main female character).
Tsukimiya would pester 374, calling him "big brother" and asking him to call her his younger sister. At a certain point in time, Tsukimiya found 374's address and informed him that she would visit him. Thinking it is too much for him to bear, 374 contacted a female offline friend of his, which also had a user by the name of Ako. Together they tried to convince Tsukimiya to drop off the visit.

To their dismay, Tsukimiya replied that "big brother and I have decided to forever be together" and "since long ago the witch has torn big brother and I". Tsukimiya finally went on to visit 374, informing him by email in advance. Anticipating her arrival, he waited outside his house, and watched as she tried to break through his door with a baton. Shouting at her to stop, she realized it was "big brother" and ran to embrace him. Finally, she was taken to the police. The damage was recompensated by her parents, and she left leaving the words "If this goes on you'll be killed by the witch", referring to Ako.

Half a day later, 374 would receive message from Tsukimiya's parents that she had gone out from the house again. Going off with Ako to hide from Tsukimiya, the two sat at a nearby tavern, but were found by Tsukimiya. Because she was a minor, she had to wait for them to leave, and then tailed them until they were in a sparsely populated residential area. She then beat Ako with her baton, shouting to 374 "Don't you realize she's the witch? After all you call the witch by name". Attempting to finish off Ako, she said "I'm going to kill her now". 374 stepped in her line, protecting Ako with his bag. Tsukimiya then exclaimed "Big brother get out of the way! I can't kill her!". But Ako got up and took Tsukimiya down with a lariat. After that, Tsukimiya was taken by the police and never heard from again.
------------------------------------------------------------

Although the story was dubious, it went on very fast around the Japanese Internet, which was small at the time. It resulted in large discussions over multiple websites, including 2ch threads. The character of Tsukimiya was labeled "denpa" for her mentally deranged behavior, and set the stage for the concept of yandere, which had not been termed yet at the time.

Later I will explain how several denpa song fans grouped together to adapt this urban legend into a denpa single, and what sort of idea of denpa music they had at the time.

Mirror of the story in Japanese:

Glad you enjoyed it. I think it was referenced in NetoYome, the relatively recent anime about female MMORPG players (which is very fitting). I'm sure there are more.

Before I continue, I wanted to share something else from Ragnarok Online, a 2002 snippet I snagged from kazutoku's website (a pianist member of IOSYS), of iTOK (another pianist member of IOSYS, maybe they're related?) playing the game within an IOSYS party. I just think it's kind of cool to see them playing together so far back.

I think as far as denpa goes, a lot of it is simply downloaded within the thread. If you need more than that, then you'll need torrent trackers. If you can't find what you want in public trackers like nyaa, you'll need to find your way into private trackers and hope what you need is there. After all of that, if you still can't find it, then you'll need to purchase and rip it yourself.

Serious question, why do people have a problem with this? I don't care if my uploads end up in other places and I don't want credit, in fact I like seeing my rips in other places. If you're going to upload them in one place anyway why does it matter? Also what is the deal with people saying "upload to your own file host before sharing" ?

Let's pick up where we left off. The year is 2002, and the Japanese Internet still hasn't matured. Besides communication through 2ch, there was also wide use of personal websites, some going as far back as 1996. Within the otaku community, there were those who noticed the rise in otaku-oriented music, both commercial and amateur, and created websites dedicated to listing the different artists and their songs. In order to better understand what led to coining of the term "denpa song", we'll explore the different song listings Japanese otaku have created in the years leading to PROJECT"D" in 2003.

Year 1998

GameMusicLibrary opens in March of 1998, chronicling the creation of different doujin music circles. The site offers an alphabetical order view of different doujin circles as well as by type - game arrangements, anime arrangements and original music. Later on GameMusicLibrary would compilate arrangements by the listed circles to several "BEST SOUND of GameMusicLibrary" albums. The circle has continued operation of the website into the early 2000s, but stopped maintaining it from the mid 2000s onwards. Among large numbers of instrumental arrangements there are sprouts of vocal arrangements.

BEST SOUND of GameMusicLibrary example: https://i.imgur.com/103piSs.jpg

Year 1999

Project Angel Wing's "Moe Song Ranking" opens early 1999. Project Angel wings ranked the singing, melody and lyrics based on the following criteria:
"Song: Many lively points. Singing ability is totally irrelevant (lol)
Melody: Many poppy, high spirited points. Melody or performance skill is totally irrelevant (lol)
Lyrics: Many carefree and thoughtless points. Artistic quality is totally irrelevant (lol)"
This is evidence of the use of "moe song" as early as 1999. There is also limited usage of 毒電波 ("poisonous denpa") to describe songs.

Website URL: http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA015183/moe/

Year 2000

BANDiT opens "BANDiT's Hideout", featuring the categories of "Adult Game Vocal Collection" and "General Public Game Vocal Collection" in May of 2000. BANDiT was a user of the theme song tree of "X Game Forum" within Nifty Serve BBS in 1999 (I believe "X Game" refers to X-Rated/18+), and when he moved to the Internet, he thought to create listings for commercial game theme songs. BANDiT continues to maintain the website and add new songs to the lists today, and has given titles to each period describing how they were like.

Website URL: http://www.alchemics.co.jp/users/bandit/index.html

BANDiT described the development of vocal themes in the two categories as such:

Adult Game Vocal Collection: http://www.alchemics.co.jp/users/bandit/vocal.html

"Before 1996: Dawn. Bonus CDs are still the norm.
1997: Introduction of popular theme songs.
1998: Calm before the storm. Fans increase.
1999 first half: Big bang!
1999 second half: I've Sound cause a whirlwind.
2000 first half: Creation of "BANDiT's Hideout"
2000 second half: Dormant major companies finally set in
2001 first half: The level also went up
2001 second half: Increase in OST CDs
2002 first half: Advance towards fusion with anime industry
2002 second half: Period of rivarly between the big players
2003 first half: Release of long-awaited masterpiece (some delay)
2003 second half: Dream battle for improvement, realization of competition
2004 first half: Fun melodies are on the rise
2004 second half: Dusk of veteran brands?
2005 first half: Rapid progress! Angel Note
2005 second half: Blooming of reserved CDs
2006 first half: Voiceactress divas flourishing yet again
2006 second half: World diminishing? (first half>second half)
2007 first half: Sound collaboration on the rise
2007 second half: Descent of Hatsune Miku
2008 first half: Increase in character image song
2008 second half: Tendency of one hit wonder songs
2009 first half: CD BOX sale trend?
2009 second half: Direct hit of recession!"

General Public Game Vocal Collection: http://www.alchemics.co.jp/users/bandit/cvocal.html

"Before 1996: CD compilation packaged together / sold separately
1997: Effect of the spread of Windows?
1998: Increase in ports
1999: Masterpieces are ported as well
2000: Somehow a sharp decrease. Like a year of disaster?
2001: Sudden increase in songs once more!
2002: Diversification of game genres as well
2003: Increase of female-oriented games
2004: CLANNAD, etc.
2005: Further increase in female-oriented games
2006: Appearance of "limited editions"
2007: Appearance of new genre novel-type theme songs
2008: More and more female-oriented games
2009: Influence of recession and restriction"

We can tell how enthusiastic people were about these kind of songs, listing artists and circles as well as ranking them. In the next reply, we will continue to explore the different listings as we approach "denpa song" and PROJECT"D".

It has been compressed to smithereens from tape, so the quality is fairly bad, but not beyond total recognition. You can notice Ikuko Ebata's cow kigurumi as well as Nobuyoshi Sano's and Hiroto Sasaki's jerseys.

Well, an obvious one (since it has denpa in the name) would be denpa-onna to seishun otoko, since it features a denpa character.
Also the opening by Shinsei Kamattechan with vocals by Asuka Ogame is pretty denpa too.
By the way, one of their famous songs has a cover by denpagumi inc.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-3vr8CaaQQ

Apart from that one I consider the over-the-top comedy anime of the early 2000s pretty denpa.
A famous one being Di-Gi-Charat.
Potemayo has an opening by mosaic.wav and is pretty crazy, but also calming.
Kyouran Kazoku Nikki is pretty much over the top denpaness, also with an mosaic.wav opening.

I'm pretty bad at listing things at the top of my head, but there are more in this kind of manner.
I would say yuru-yuri is a pretty interesting for denpa-lovers too, featuring many songs written by funta 7.
Adaptations of denpa VNs exist as well.

Since it's hard to even say what denpa means, its kind of hard to say which anime is denpa and which isn't.
I would in general say that especially the cutesy kind of denpa and moe kind of anime are pretty much intertwined.

I first started trying to find denpa years ago. At the time I didn't know it was a genre. Started listening to lolicore thinking that was the genre I was looking for. Even though it wasn't, I started to enjoy it for different reasons. Then one day I was browsing an /a/ thread about anime ringtones and one anon posted Melon pan moku moku by honey came lab and I realized that was what I was looking for. And while trying to find a download for the album I stumbled across the denpa thread here. Realized that this was the genre I was looking for. Fast worward to now and denpa is one of my favorite styles of music. I now own hundreds of CDs and hgave been to Japan a number of times for denpa events. I've noticed a shift, too, towards simpler and softer-sounding compositions which seem to lack a certain 'attacking' style musically. Could be he's just mellowing with age and the circumstances of life... Remember that pre-33.turbo Delusion Brigade also had some mellow tunes, especially with its "animus sonus (Nitro+ Vocal arrange album)" release. There are a couple more releases from the previous circle 冬の三日月企画, going back at least as far as 2007, that I don't think we've gotten a chance to hear yet. He was making mellow music back then alongside other livelier sounding stuff as well, so I don't count him out to come back with something a bit more crazy-sounding again. What was the latest Picolony Nauts album?
I think Katahotori is slightly past his prime by now, at least judging from the latest Poyahchio album, but the Picolony Nauts and Petit Rhythm series were always bent on guest appearances, so it wasn't as apparent.

They are officially on a hiatus, and I would guess from what was hinted that it is mainly because of Hirotys workload before each M3 or Comiket (Twinkle + commissions and everything else).

Their official Twitter account is mostly used for the odd announcement as well as for daily botspamming of song lyrics.

Hirotys or Nekomes accounts are much more interesting to follow.

I appreciate what you write and I read from time to time, however I think you should write your knowledge somewhere more "solid." What you write is interesting and very difficult to discover on your own. Maybe somewhere you can type chronologically and the OP provide the link on each new denpa thread. With each new "continuation" of what you have to write, you, of course, write here, but also places in that "more solid" place so the information does not get lost.

When you write only here, we will eventually forget or the information will be lost or difficult to maintain a sequence.

You need patience and plenty of free time to look for older threads (when you are lucky enough to find them). Writing in a solid place and OP providing the link we are all benefited.

STB's channel is among other older doujin musicians who wish to cherish and protect the memory of their works. I believe I previously covered Shinji Hosoe, who uploaded videos of his band days in the late 1990s, and Ikuko Ebata, who uploaded some of her songs. There is also Bukkon, a vocalist to appear on mplayers albums, and of course the IOSYS music channel. I think it's amazing for these people to still be around, sometimes years after they went out of doujin.

Unfortunately, I don't know much of the use of analog tape. Other than STB-lab and mplayers RECORD, I haven't heard of other music circles to use tapes for sale. I believe I previously saw drama tapes, however, and the TROUBADOUR RECORD live appearances were also recorded on tape. CD-R became quite common around 1997-1998, often as reprint material for CD-DA releases.

Let's begin with the album I planned on sending to begin with - COSMIC PARFAIT by FRUITY, released in C47 of 1994.
https://mega.nz/#!xEEUASqZ!8OJxrW56C2tOaYtJKYT5jwU5slI4BtvYnhMY-ZhJ9E0

This is a solo "techno-house" mini-album by MYU-RECORDINGS member FRUITY. As with other members of the circle, there is frequent use of vocal samples. I think this album is relevant to denpa because of its combination of techno music with crazy male singing (the only other circle I know to have done that is IOSYS), what results in a peculiar sound that is very different from what we normally listen to in denpa.

Unlike TROUBADOUR, mplayers or MYU-RECORDINGS, Whoopee!records solely released arrangement albums (mostly from anime). Their first album after MEGUaMIx, Whoopee!Pieces01, starts with six different "A Cruel Angel's Thesis" arrangements. Like the others, it was a large circle of around 20 people, both musicians and their friends who pooled in money and provided other necessities for production.

The founder of the circle, who goes by Whoopee, is still active today. As far as I can tell, he runs a bar and hosts meetup events there with other oldie musicians like Bermei Inazawa and Rekka Katakiri.

I feel as though the early doujin musicians had little to no restraint keeping them from fulfilling their creative vision. Especially in COSMIC PARFAIT, FRUITY had a lot of ground to experiment on. It's hard to tell what sort of influence COSMIC PARFAIT or other MYU-RECORDINGS albums had on doujin music in general and denpa music in particular, but I found this snippet from a 1995 computer magazine of a giveaway of MYU-RECORDINGS albums. You can at the very least assume some recognition by the Japanese computer geek community.

When I spoke of IOSYS, I meant their early 2000s works from when they were mainly producing comedy skits. In more modern times, there are uncommon appearances of male vocals in denpa. If you have any 33.turbo examples in specific, please link them here.

>>21732470
There isn't much I can suggest besides checking every day in Yahoo Auctions, Rakuten and Suruga-ya for MYU-RECORDINGS releases. Proxy shipment website FromJapan has good indexing service for all of these websites. There are other MYU-RECORDINGS releases on Suruga-ya right now, including COSMIC PARFAIT, so be sure to look them up by the Japanese name "ミュウレコーディングス".

Thank you for uploading these. After listening though, I am more inclined to want to hear stuff from the other circle you have on topic, like INDIVIDUAL.

One thing I am noticing about these MYU-RECORDINGS albums crossfades that I am listening to, besides their all having such varied musical styles interlaced with the techno, is the robot-voice introduction - where that originates from specifically, I don't know (maybe someone here who does can say), but I recognize that same robotic voice later being used on Panda-san Youchien as well. In fact, that's exactly what COSMIC PARFAIT reminded me of, it's same kind of crazy flow of music, so maybe there was an influence.

These albums all sound great:

Besides its use in the crossfades, I haven't heard speech synthesis in any real use within a MYU-RECORDINGS album. I'll have to listen to more of their albums to really tell.

Regardless, here is MYUCD-05: MYU-TATION and its bonus CD, VEL.

COSMIC PARFAIT didn't have much of an impression on me when I initially listened to it, but over time I've grown to like it more and more. With omnibus CDs like MYU-TATION, however, you get a mixed bag of all sorts of musicians, better or worse, which offers a different kind of experience.

>>21744016
Although the same song exists on VEL., there is no lyric sheet. If lyrics exist, they must then be on the first Water Clock album instead. I tried looking for lyrics on their website (http://www.waterclock.jp/)) but only their later albums have lyric sheets embedded within the website.
That said, there are several image collections from their live appearances, as well as a video recording. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5cOyqMDagk

>>21744059
I'll note that these are physical CDs and not digital downloads (which is good). I might order the ones I'm missing. I have around 7-8 more MYU-RECORDINGS CDs, though only one of them, MYUCD-16 EXPRESSION, is an omnibus CD. I also have MYUCD-10 OR on the way.

Well, the booth inventory seems to reflect what is currently still available at their online music store as well - the only difference there is to see that the ones you've mentioned have been sold out. So I would say you are in luck to have them.

OR looks to be a beast, as does Kaleidoscope, which I noticed has more from FRUITY on it (those both being 2-disc compilations, alright!). I'm super excited to hear more, as a lot does seem to fit in with being a precursor on the evolutionary denpa scale.

I got my hands on two more old albums containing Ikuko Ebata vocals. First, another mplayers RECORD album, "junk.test SUN" from 1996, and second, the 1995 Manikyua-Dan album "Minna no Manikyua" (which you can listen to here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYZAzukYZuU ). I additionally purchased a much later Ikuko Ebata album, as it seems from 2017. I'll incorporate what I can of the CDs into the current and next blog posts when they arrive.

Musicality aside, Camellia is pretty amusingly in-tune with western jokes, I think largely due to English proficiency and engaging with fans via his social media outlets. I think cross-cultural silly lyrics like this and senpai notice me are fun in a shameless way, and are in the denpa spirit.
