I've accepted it now, because Nasu was running out of steam even before F/SN became seriously mainstream. Fate/Zero was basically the swansong of the entire Fate series and Mahoutsukai no Yoru was the last decent work he made with plenty of shit before it. The hope for a Tsukihime remake was dead long before either of those, too.
