How do you guys deal with not wanting to do anything else besides japanese? I have homework for ee classes that I can't cheat on anymore because textsheets is down. I don't care about engineering anymore and just want japanese. but have two more semesters to push through this garbage, then i can go to japan and be a braindead english teacher and spend all day in japanese. any advice?

there's actually lots of good mecha anime from the 80s, like votoms, dagram, and patlabor.
tomino's non-gundam stuff like ideon and xabungle varies from being great to being kinda like a cartoony-feeling sunday afternoon kiddy show.
70s is a lot more super robot-y, but if you can stand watching all of mazinger z or getta robo, you can get through anything.
there's some good stuff from the 90s, like gundam f91 and some of the gundam ovas/films set in early uc. there's also somewhat of a comeback of the super robot genre with g gundam and giant robo.

In my native language, even if I somehow encounter a new word that I don't know, I can easily tell the meaning based on the root word(which is always basic), what conjugated form it took and what suffixes and prefixes it got affixed with. We learn in detail about how words are made at school so that we don't just blindly memorize words.

Apparently option 4 is the correct answer, but all but 2 seem like they make sense. Is there something about 1/3 that makes them incorrect I'm missing?

When i looked at a J-J for おとろえる I couldn't find out why 1/3 aren't appropriate uses. The only guess I have is that it's a weakening in intensity as opposed to condition but no idea.
