No. We were originally supposed to leave in March *2019*, which is possibly where you're getting confused. Hello,
so as everyone knows perfect pitch accent is essential to sound like a native ,but are there not more things besides that? for example there are so many people from european countries who are not english natives who speak english with an pretty heavy accent of their native language and accent can not be the problem, because most european languages share the same stress accent as english.
Is maybe prounication the key? Like imitating exactly how a native speaker speaks the target language.

I haven't studied Japanese for about 6 months now. Everytime I want to start I get stressed out: it's as if I'm choking!

I've studied Japanese for 2.5 years almost every day and today I found out I barely passed my JLPT N5 so I decided to pick up learning Japanese again. However when I read about others who passed their N5 after a couple of months of study it feels like I'm choking!I also have no idea what to study nextwhich causes that choking feeling to become even stronger. Has anyone ever experienced the same thing? How do I stop this feeling? I want to study Japanese so bad but I have no idea where to start anymore... Should I just quit? Thinking about quiting also gives me this choking feeling but will that make it stop by not thinking about it anymore?

I have literally no idea what to watch to brush up my Japanese.
I tried Shirokuma Cafe, but it was insanely fucking dull and boring.
Most things i find interesting from just the premise i only get 5% comprehension out of, which always makes me feel like i should save it for when i actually have a chance of understanding it since interesting shows are far and few between.

Thinking whether i should just do it the Matt way and start watching Pokemon Sun and Moon or some shit. Maybe Shonen is the right call. I could rewatch the old as fuck Dragon Ball anime. Sadly that's not on Animelon

I've been able to fluently read Hiragana and Katakana for a year now, and I've picked up some kanji. I've started Anki, but it seems like whenever I try to read a simple children's story I'm completely lost. The vocabulary I'm learning in Anki is useful but it seems like childrens stories use simpler words than what I'm studying. I've searched for a good resource for months, but can't seem to find much of anything that actuallyexplainstext to me rather than just giving translations. I think what I'm struggling with is grammar. I've been looking at Tae Kim's stuff recently, and that's helped a lot.

But still, I cannot read novel and news without dictionary, even when I know EVERY kanji in that page and how to read them. Grammar is NOT the problem. The problem is, I don't know those kanji compositions mean when they gang up together.

For example, I know that　立（リツ、た・つ）= stand and　体（タイ、からだ）= body, but how should I know that　 立体 means 'multi-storey car park'? WHAT!? Nanda korya!! How does that kanji composition even makes sense!?
