I notice something about some japanese people here in America.

There was this music show that a friend of mine was performing, the whole group are japanese, and once it ended all of them left to the back of the venue to hang out. I notice, when I left to the back to hang out, along with other non-japanese friends, we were all getting ignored. All of them were just talking amongst themselves (Japanese only) kind of thing, not one of them really talk to any of us americans. And, were all close friends and THEM leaving us hanging like that...........

Has anyone experience that?

If so, share.

It's true. I know jap and chinese people who do this exact same thing. It's next to impossible to get to know them.

Same poster:

At the uni dorms, there are a riduiculous amount of asians and they ALWAYS are found in large groups chatting in their home tongue. They will ignore you as much as possible.

I was in a lab group with a couple international students and all they do is discuss the shit in Mandarin so I'm forced to sit there and do nothing.

This is true. In my dorms, there was a small cluster of asians and they were always together 24/7. I think they spoke Russian or something, I'm damn near positive it wasn't Korean.

Asians are the most inclusive kind of people.

Even mexicans and arabs reserve their secret club language for family or moments where secrecy is really needed.

OP sounds like a needy social bitch that needs reassurance, cool people don't need attention they generate it, when you are around performers you have to know how to deal with egos,
you failed

Say you go to a foreign country. You pressure yourself to use the foreign language you barely speak properly. You may even feel that the natives will find your accent/way of life/opinions funny or disturbing. They are from another country after all. Then, you meet someone from your country there. Same language, same way of life. To whom is it easier talking to about daily things?

Not really. The Asians are really bad at it.

Anyone else go to the University of Waterloo? I don't think I've ever seen an Asian without at least one other Asian.

That could happen with any nationality.

Why the hell would you go to another country if you're going to end up living the same shit?
