I went to the archives for this. Kazuya's living. Van-sama's still the antithesis of Billy Aniki no matter which way you spin it due to him being significantly more gullible. If I want to be even more blunt, it is Know Your Meme + Twitch + Money that tarnished GPW's reputation. KYM has that page for Steve Rambo Videos by its 5 authors that do not know jack about what the hell is GPW and mistook BGPA for being a cut from the same cloth. While that is correct, the Japanese were creative with their intent on being unintentionally nationalistic about their soramimi that you can never find in anywhere else. You'd be hard pressed to mention soramimi to anyone without getting questions on how GPW has anything to do with that.

Twitch was and STILL is a thorn on the history of GPW. Nothing's redeemable from it besides the Chinese and Russian fans opening their eyes a teeny-tiny bit on how fucked up GPW got.

That mentally unstable fiend MowtenDoo, bless his influential self (responsible for Ualuealuealeuale), was a massive YTPMVfag that had since retired. From observation, I could imagine MowtenDoo had the most power in the GPW scene as he had the most primitive understanding of it, adjusting for the current time, was the most knowledgeable on what made it GPW in the first place.

Enter Twitch, or rather, Justin. Justin hits the scene as a streaming site. I can connect the dots and imagine that Authentic Gachimuchi Pants Wrestling (September 30, 2007 reupload of course. August 10, 2007 original upload got deleted due to mods in denial in NND) spam was potent there. The primitive viewers take a liking to it, ignore its underlying depths, look at it at face value and say that it's just homoerotic wrestling (Kazuya and Aniki never had any gay sex with each other; but I'd imagine that was at the forefront of the English-speaking people hearing Authentic Gachimuchi Pants Wrestling or Professional Muscular Pants Wrestling, if you like localizations, more for the first time).

Before MowtenDoo rose to prominence in the GPW, ROvideos, the guy who kick-started BGPA as a series of 4 videos on October 4, 2010. Bad Gay Porn Acting 2 and Bad Gay Porn Acting 4 are the very first mentions of Boy Band ever being uploaded.

Twitch is introduced as late as 2011. By this point in the GPW time period, the damage had already been done to GPW by BGPA and that moron Daniel Radcliffe-san ("妖精王の逆襲　Part1 忍耐編" ; Switchcraft uploader; "ダニエル･ラドクリフ さん") doomed GPW into what it is today on January 6, 2011.

Then, a big European Twitch streamer, or rather you could pin the blame for this next part on the big names of Twitch (not like it was an ideal site to have any meaningful conversations in the first place, just mob mentality to see who had the biggest voice) named forsen, adopts "Gachi" into his own little sub-culture.

I do not know details about forsen, but he makes a few trivial mistakes on it. His fans mimicked those same behaviors that forsen enabled and that's how RIGHT VERSION was born in possibly as early as 2014.

The outcome: BGPA is submerged deep into GPW due to sheer coincidence, Twitch picks up on neutered GPW, fans eat it up raw, Billy Aniki sees this and enables it, Billy Aniki dies; leaves the brain problems MowtenDoo without a daddy to support him and leaves, two sides on the western attempting to cling onto the original Japanese culture of GPW and the other on the cancer insinuated by ROvideos, Daniel Radcliffe-san, forsen, twitch, SodaPoppins, Van-sama being a gullible moron, the absolute disrespect for human life in the form of doxes of popular GPW characters (Kazuya, Ro nau jii nyo, Biollante, Obama, the list goes on in Twitter).

For Twitch, from what I've gathered, it is a video game website that causes people to get big egos, a massive dopamine hit, a false sense of accomplishment, struck with political correctness as politics get shoehorned in, etc. I've been with someone like Cirno_TV before. I used to be a fool following a big shot guy in JP otaku culture + Demolition_D (prior to him quitting; go me).

The duality of the fairies.

Billy Herrington sees his fame in Japan, travels to Japan to promote his kind-hearted, humble attitude, re-wears his leather outfit (the iconic one seen in Recharge! (the OG smiling Aniki, not the glimmering once rare/in-image set behind a paywall COLT Studio Group, one you see spammed everywhere with extreme prejudice.) and The Final Link, sees forsen as the only one promoting his content abroad, makes a mishap and enables the cancer you see spread across any non-NND or even IN NND sites, and unceremoniously dies after traveling to China in Wuhan 2 months later in 2018. Best character to me in GPW. A close favorite main character list of mine is still Aniki > Kazuya > Biollante > Gosaku > Tortoise > Jonouchi > Van-sama > Sudo-san.

Van Darkholme is actually early to the party and is initially on the fence of GPW (on November 28, 2009) due to him being naive, gullible, unapologetic in his nature due to his baggage (feigning his stats in 101 Rent Boys, his attitude in LotL, HoD speaks for itself, so does Kink.com what with all the BOY NEXT DOOR and DREAM COME TRUE lines), not at all humble than Billy Aniki. Though, initially, he is aware of it and appreciated it.
Balancing Kink.com and his newfound fame in GPW, Van decided to be silent about GPW in the time it gained undeserved notoriety (if anything should get notoriety its ultimately Inmufags/Cookiefags, but because that culture is too dangerous to delve into, it's best to leave it to implode on itself one day for all I care about it), outside Japan. He makes a few YouTube videos on the spare, spare time he has not making degenerative shit for a niche audience. Once he retires in 2017, he moves to North Carolina. Billy Aniki dies with no response from Van-sama. Fast forward to 2019, Van-sama takes a look at the FANDOM powered by Wikia Gachimuchi Wiki and decides to move to China to try to copy Billy. I believe at this point (early 2020 give or take) he receives an email from one of his fans to move onto Twitch and Twitter to begin anew the vicious legacy left behind by ROvideos and the other people responsible for GPW's decline in quality (besides of course, Japanese retention when their biggest supporter died in Billy Aniki). He then asks for penis pictures, still fulfilling his role as the Dark Fairy to Billy's Forest Fairy.

I do like both characters, they were both in Lords of the Lockerroom, they both fought Biollante, and it all took a day on October 13, 1999.
