If you're going for a cat theme, I suggest just plagiarizing the first few pages of 『我輩は猫である』. It's not as though your teacher will notice.

Your story doesn't really seem to make much sense.

What are you trying to say?

Yesterday, I taked to Tanaka.
In reality, he said his cat became lost. (glad I read this over, doesn't make sense to say Tanaka said Tanaka's cat was lost.
Then, I decided to help him

please at least learn the kana. my eyes are bleeding.

Writing before you can read is a very bad idea. You shouldn't even think about writing until you can at least read shounen manga without using a dictionary all the time. Writing too soon only teaches bad habits.

What do you think about this?

昨日田中さんと話した。
田中さんは「自分の猫がいなくなってしまいました!」と言った
その猫は本当にばかでしょう?
それから田中さんに手伝ってあげた。

You can tell that a class is worthless when they don't force you to use kana from day one.

Probably a high school class.

The class isn't the problem here. The fact that he isn't using kana shows that /jp/, in its infinite kindness, is being trolled royally.

The Japanese program at my high school had kana covered after two years of study. What a waste of time, good thing I never took it.

I don't really see how you could memorize the kana/kanji without writing. For me, writing is the only way it sticks in my memory.

>> No.2418637

>>2418254
Why? It's 20x faster to learn it yourself. Unless of course you like spending two years learning how to write sentences in romanji.
