Hi /jp/
I'm going to toyama for a year long internship.
Any suggestions on what to do in my spare time?
Also, any cultural things I might need to know would be appreciated.

You could go to a touhou concert

You could also dress in a kimono and go to a tea ceremony or something

Seriously though I haven't a clue

so did I, that's not what I meant, I meant through what channels did you obtain your internship.

Who did you talk to to even have the option to grab such an internship?

See, I'm just wondering about how to act and not piss off all of Japan.
I could ask /b/, but I'd get nothing but 'barrel roll' 'an hero' and be told to cum on someone in the streets, but I would rather take the cultural aspects in and learn for a while.

The Modern Languages Department here at Georgia Tech sent out some information last semester, and started a process that took from november until january to complete. You could try talking to your school's Liberal Arts advisors and to the Language department.

You could go to a comic con thing and buy a bunch of doujinshi *shrug*
