I loved how my phone wallpaper adjusts to the cover of the album of songs I listened to. All these cover were amazing and not a lot of people really talk about it. I don't know if it's just a huge coincidence, but I've been saving multiple videos from Japanese bands in private youtube playlists since 2010.
Maybe it's just me but I noticed that quite often a video that was online for 3 years with very few views will simply get taken down due to copyright 1 or 2 weeks after I favorite them under my private playlists (which I use to organize videos)...

I wouldn't be surprised if the googletards had their copyright detection algorithm set to prioritize videos that are saved in playlists. If you think about it that would actually make sense for them to do so.

I just love Theme of Eastern Story and its many arranges.
It's a basic but elegant melody and there are so many versions simply just from the mainline games.

I found some Touhou arrangements while scouring various homepages for Ragnarok Online arrangements circa 2006. I think most of the MP3s I found were samples from Liverne's Touhou Gensou Shiten "banquet," although I might've found some non-circle tracks before the release of that album. From there though I was interested and picked up the games, starting with PCB. As such, the title screen of PCB is incredibly nostalgic for me.

The guy makes some portrait vids of touhou characters in such a way that they also have some small animations like mouths or sudden blood burst on the Flandre vid.
Also, he corrupted the music in such a way that they feel like they were recorded in a phone

Did any of you anons share 2hu music with your family or friends? Because I did with my dad.
I often played my music out loud (mainly 2hu jazz arranges) and my dad caught wind of music I was playing because I know he likes jazz too.
He was interested in the music so I suggested to share some and gave him stuff by Baguettes Ensemble, DDBY's Cafe de Touhou, Foxfactory, tanigon, Active NEETs, xi-on, and Accord on Codes.
I only gave him instrumental albums since I felt kinda reluctant to have him listen to japanese vocals.
But nonetheless he love all of it and I plan to give him some more since new albums have come out from the circles I follow.
How about you anons?

I'm still mad. Aside from Groovy Moon (Which was a blast), none of their recent releases are as enjoyable as Phi's.
I kinda stopped checking for new toho releases when dojinco went down, and know I kinda want to get back into it, but aside from Demetori and FELT, i think most of my usual circles are dead (old xi-on, Sally, Foreground Eclipse, fromadistance, Blankfield, Liz Triangle).

Back when I used to be in my full-on Japanophile phase I put a lot of effort into learning some piano arrangements of the IN and SA soundtrack. The sheet music I'd found online was quite tough for me at the time, so I had to practice a lot before I could get them right. My family probably never found out where they were from exactly, but they know them well due to how often I played them.

This one is such a hidden gem. Shame that ZUN's chuggiest guitar riff ever is wasted on such an unknown track. This one could easily have been a stage 4/5 theme.
It's like IN's soundfont going as heavy as posible.

Most of the music is according to yuunari on youtube, "pure ear porn" which I agree with, especially the tracks with 越田Rute隆人 as the vocalist, his voice is gold.

It's a loop. Playing the game leads you to knowing the themes. Knowing the themes leads you to enjoying the arranges. Enjoying the arranges leads you to actually enjoying the original themes and games even more. And then you can start to get into specific circles that catter to your music taste, and all the other toho shit.
Also, even if you just want to get into the music, play the damn thing. There's really no point on listening to game music without the whole context in which it is played, specially in music that gets such a huge arrange scene like toho does. Don't be another faggot who moist at megalovania, but never played undertale. It's not a good track by itself without the context backing it up. Which also apply's to toho music.
