Yeah yeah, we know the old selfloathing routine and how you think it's cool. We don't fucking care.
Reported.

/jp/ was solely intended as a dump for touhou. It serves that purpose very well. Nothing meaningful was ever supposed to happen here.

Today it was pissed on by everyone.

what, it has been over a year?

It's actually /jp/ summer now, but we're barely being hit at all.

The Weekend is a far bigger threat.

you kids should try browsing /a/ for two weeks without visiting /jp/

That would make this a zombie board, since it's way past Jan 2009 and it's still here.
Still, yeah, I see that a lot of troll appeared, such as you, when trolling on anonymous internet boards became really popular. Good job Anon, I hope you become a 11/10 troll some day in the future.

Also visual novels, but the point is still there.
Some people will argue that /jp/ isn't meant for that and is really here to discuss things about japan, and there's certainly nothing wrong with doing so, but everyone that's been here since the board was created knows it's a dump board for things that everybody in /a/ kept crying about.

Still better than /a/ though.

>January 2009

Doh ho ho ho. Though I suppose thinking about it before then /jp/ was mostly shit as opposed to completely shit these days.

Frankly, /jp/ was only reasonable around the first six weeks of it's creation, then it fell apart because most the discussions you could actually have were had and the buzz of a new board had died down, tripfags started to settle in and 'role play' threads slowly became more common until the mods banned it for a good while.

But really, compare Jan 09 to say, Nov 08 there wouldn't be that much difference.
