Lets hope that a lot of fans from the Shuffle fanbase do. Say what you will about MangaGamer, but they do at least have one thing going for them, and that is that they fucking release stuff, so it would be good to see them survive as long as possible. Look at how long it took Jast to release Family Project.

That is motivation for me to get others to buy it. I know some Shuffle fags who I can probably convince.

Also, people need to make sure ANN/AoD/other news sites are told about the release once it is released, as I doubt MangaGamer will be sending out a press release. Casual fags need to be made aware of this (and more importantly Higurashi when it is released).

As for the script
Good news- EvoSpace said the translation quality (not game quality) is superior to KiraKira (but inferior to Higurashi)
Bad news- In the second half of July, they decided to do a last rush through the scripts to replace the English nicknames that some genius proofreader thought was a good idea with honorifics. This may lead to some last minute problems

Currently they plan on doing Shuffle, Higurashi (Questions), Soul Link, and Higurashi (Answers) this year.

Yeah, basically EvoSpace said that they were debating about honorifics, then people got pissed off and pointed him and MangaGamer to their own poll where ~95% prefered honorifics, and pointed out how the official subbed release of Shuffle by Funimation had honorifics, so they decided to change it to honorifics.

The bad thing isn't honorifics, I prefer them in anything with Japanese voices, and I am glad that they are changing it back. The possible bad thing is the potential problems that come with rushing through the script making a large amount of changes at the last moment.
