As a Luknight, I don't entirely feel that way. It's probably true that she plays it up specifically when teasing others in collabs. But she's acted this way for what, 8 years, and unless Subaru was greatly exaggerating for entertainment, she seems to act this way with people that she's comfortable with IRL.

I think she's really into acting like a spoiled princess and streaming is her outlet for it because you can't really do it in society outside of infantilism/DDLG communities.

like, of course some part of the reason she acts like this is because she enjoys it. It's not like she had to do this.

One thing I find interesting is exactly what kinds of treatment she appreciates in response to her thing, and which she doesn't. There was a time a while back where she used to complain about people nnnaaaaaaaaaahing in response to her doing it, and using her gobi when talking to her. I can totally understand that being annoying if only because it's repetitive and doesn't lead to novel interaction, but what I didn't understand is how it would be any less annoying than being treated like a baby in general. I think Hololive has this weird thing where it's this blend of real person and fictional character. it's like a kind of improvisational comedy where they play very loose with the character concept and occupy their character role really intimately. some Holos pretty much don't even play a character and just act like themselves, but Luna does the toddler princess thing and the way she plays it is really funny, it's got a high degree of self-awareness and she understands the gap moe with her being a toddler and like demolishing Dark Souls with a no armor run, for instance, while making a cute noise when she pulls off a backstab. and little things like insisting that she's an adult whenever someone calls her a baby, and asking why artists don't draw sexy art of her. it's funny, because she both embraces the baby thing and treats it like something she's trying to keep a secret.

Luna is not good in Japanese so don't know if Luna can say this well... but i will write it nanora.

Before the debut the 4th of January 2020, Luna wasn't really anxious or nervous as she was happy and full of anticipation nora.
