That's what I told last thread. The HoloEN established in Japan and their fans are among the most obnoxious and that collab is a double edged sword. The chat is also bad as it is in Astel's or Izuru's stream. They need to curb the unhealthy current situation and reequilibrate the proportion of JP-EN audience in general.
I believe the main force of the Holostars brand, especially after watching today's zatsudan, is their group dynamic and that is something that they should expand on it more for this year by organizing branchwide activities and events.
The Stars who are incidentally the most popular are the ones who collabed outside HoloPro like obviously Roberu, but also Rikka musically, Aruran with the tabletop games or Shien with his sister. I think that the collabs inside HoloPro in general (except HoloID who share a common history with them) should preferrably be avoided except for celebrations as both sides don't really benefit from it at best.
The Holostars may have debuted on a bad start by being separated from Hololive, but they may benefit on a long term by being their own thing instead of being a genderbent version of the girls

They should work towards doing more big group collabs this year, they're probably tricky to coordinate but the group doesn't have a huge number of people which might make things a little easier. With their size, a mini-concert may be a reachable goal. Most of the stars seem to be motivated for it as they showed in the outfit relay.
In general, as you said, their biggest hits are those branchwide collabs like Holouters and the Among Us collabs. They have an ideal size for it compared to Hololive and Nijisanji who now went too big, and a good chemistry. It will be more difficult later if they expand and with eventually new managers.

At least, that's what they implied in the half-anniversary MaFia stream. There was also the Temma stream where he said he would probably date Oga out of everyone if he was a girl.
