It wasn't. Tho there is one thing, that I liked about it – it kinda reminds me of a gangster movie.

We have a literal nobody, who quickly gains power and prestige, he slowly gets corrupted by this power. He loses it all: his friends die or turn against him, he is attacked by the enemy he cannot win with and then he dies at the end.

Almost like Scarface.
