Hey /jp/...

I'm looking to play a prank on a luddite housemate with a bit of a loli fixation. I want to replace all his system sounds with various eroge soundfiles. Any suggestions for sources?

Honestly, all I'm really hoping for is something that'll scream 'YAMETE' in a suitably schoolgirly voice every time there's a system fault, but a full suite would be fantastic. Planning on setting them up before going away for a week, and he has no idea how to deal with them short of turning speakers off.

Check out the threads with the eroge CDs in the archive, you could always cut one of them up. Lots of squicky noises, not so much yamete though.

get a pc sound recorder like easy hi-q recorder, and just play an eroge or two and record the lines you want

OP - System recorder, eroge CD, sorted. No idea where you'll get a yamete wail.

Grab something with the sounds you are looking for. Record and edit sounds with Audacity (google search).

When you have your sounds together, place them in a folder your buddy will never find.

When that's done: Start > Contol Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Sounds tab. The rest should be self explanatory.

In the meantime why don't you prepare another little surprise? Create a new folder on his desktop and name it "porn". Then, take a screenshot of his desktop (no windows in the middle). Go to paint, save the screenshot to a secret folder in his HD. Put that image as the new desktop image. Delete the "porn" folder. It will still be there, but it will be part of the desktop image.

Rejoice at his despair trying to delete it.
