my experience using it as someone that hates doing anki is that i didnt bother to hover almost ever. most of the time i'd just forget i even added the function. it adds like 20%+ of extra time to my reviews if i would check for every word that i'd have failed otherwise. but i quit anki so my take on it isnt worth much i guess.

I am just deciding to try to learn Japanese because I just think it's a really cool language and I've been watching AOT s4 subbed so I'm just asking where would you guys recommend me start?

My end goal is to be able to talk in Japanese just for fun around school and be able to have whole conversations in Japanese (I only know like one person that can speak it in my school). Right now, I’m struggling with katakana nouns, but this video helped me out. The format keeps things fresh and at a good pace. I learned a couple of katakana nouns that sound nothing like what they came from!

I didn’t know much about the VTuber trend, but is this how people get sucked in? It looks like she just started, so I’m going to support her and learn some Japanese too! I hope there will be more videos soon.
