Then went to anime cards, but after a while it got annoying doing them out of context or having to add lots of hints, so I basically do the TSC cards for now. Don't let the method bog you down. I have an Anki question.

I have two computers with two versions of Anki. Same decks on each PC.

The newer version of Anki doesn't display the front of the cards in the card browser. Kinda defeats the purpose of the browser honestly. Is there a simple way to fix this besides just using an older version of Anki?

How to get into / over /through the intermediate learning hump ?

What advice can you give someone who is just barely passed Genki, can have butchered conversations and communicate, but who feels a bit stuck and has trouble motivating oneself to study?How do you get unstuck in your learning process? Tell me I'm not the only one that got stuck here!!

I've been studying for Japanese irregularly, and independently, while living in other foreign countries which speak a third language (not Japanese) for about six years. I am married to a native Japanese speaker, but we started and have always maintained English as the dominant language of our relationship.

I've been using Wanikani, which I somewhat like, for over a year (maybe two?), but I've taken weeks and months off multiple times. I'm still in the painful levels.
