Unrelated but I'm curios of what 2hu fan art looked like back in the 90s assuming it exist. Or maybe no art existed due to the fact that art sharing communities didn't really exists back then, 2hu wasn't really that popular until T06 (which came out in 2002), and file sharing was not that common due to slow speeds. I wonder what the 90s OG 2hu fags were like and what they would think of modern 2hu fans.

In Rumia's character description it's mentioned that the ribbon in her hair is actually an ofuda that she can neither touch nor remove.
Some people speculated that the ribbon was actually a power limiter. Fan artists ran with the idea, created a what if scenario where the ribbon was removed and EX Rumia was born.
She's always depicted with a sword but beyond that it varies from artist to artist. Sometimes she has wings, sometimes she's aged up with long hair, sometimes the remains of her ribbon circle around her head like a halo. Since she's just a concept so artists are pretty much free to do whatever they want with the design.

The real winner is the one who grew up on internet influence prior to the mid-10s. Post 2015 is a corporate run mess partly resultant from the early 10s.
People call it being stuck in the past, but the present isn't any better.
Given the choice, just about half of everyone if not more would trade off the quality and advances of late just to have the early internet back.
