Yeah, I'm only going to focus on one SuperFes from the start until I can MLB her. Marisa seems to be the best at farming which a bulk of the game is, so she'll be the one that gets my resources.

Just have to save up pity for her, which I should be able to do if I put in the work every day.

That being said, the wiki being officially sponsored does rub me the wrong way. And it's definitely not run by dedicated autists who happen to be getting paid, since a lot of the release characters still don't have their strengths and weaknesses filled out.

I got SuperFes Marisa after 100 pulls, much better than what I had budgeted to spend (i.e., the entire spark).

I guess this is now my long-term investment going forward, since purchasing divine paper dolls from the shop is WAY too expensive. $100+ CDN? Yeah, that's a pass. I'll just slowly work on MLB'ing her with whatever the game gives us. If they were priced around $30 or so I may have done it, but it's more than triple the cost of what I'd feel comfortable spending (even if the bundle comes with additional items).

Honestly, it was the seven 3*s that hurt. 4*s at least can be converted to more tokens; 3*s that aren't the cellphone bring zero satisfaction. My rolls for the rest of the spark were great though, so I'm really happy overall.

No, but she's more than enough to handle most of the game outside extra and the tower. redMarisa has better damage output but only if you MLB her, which is impossible for f2ps as of now. Having her doesn't really help with extra or the tower either since you need a good team an not a single overpowered unit. If you really want a strong sfes, then just wait until loliYuyuko.

So what is this all about the game doing poorly?

I mean, its the first Gacha game im REALLY invested in. Not a single one before had me hooked so long. The gameplay is fun, its not TOO expensive and the ratio of errands and daily stuff/events is quite nice, too.

Out of dolls since I am training a stall team for the tower. Mokou ate 2 and is going to eat 2 more when I get the one from the event shop. Sanae took only one and Reimu none thanks to dupes. Previous 7 dolls used on Yuyuko and Youmu. Also wish to MLB my wife Alice I pulled recently.
Not "focusing" on dupes here, but any of those characters dupe was a nice bonus to a pull.

I don't think it's doing poorly yet, but the devs are being really greedy recently.
Took out the free friends from the first events and replaced them with friend rolls.
Surprise Suika banner six months early.
And right after that, surprise Red Marisa banner four months early.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if we got Toyohime next week, in an obvious attempt to milk the whales even more.

So I did I SC 10 pull on the Marisa banner and got her on my first try. Now I am stuck trying to decide what to do. I don't have enough to spark and with the tower doll and my free doll I can only get her to 90. If I buy two of the doll packs I can MLB her and have 6000 GCs in my inventory for the next time a banner I like comes up.

You people need to understand that you don't need the Superfes characters to do anything. Yuuka, Toyohime, Tenshi can do pretty much anything you need them to, and characters like Tewi, Aunn, and Kosuzu are also stupidly good and not even Festival units. ffs you can stall out tower content with basic units like Mokou Medicine Reimu and Sanae. Just have a little patience unless you really really love Red Marisa, Cool Youmu, or Loli Yuyuko.

Personally I'm fine with them putting up Red Marisa because I spent all my cubes sparking Suika and can now save for whatever is next. I'll just daily roll under Medicine's banner because I need dupes.

MLB Youmu can sometimes immediately kill the fairies, but it's RNG. The other fairy sometimes doesn't do her defensive buff which allows you to nuke them on the first turn. But they buff like 90% of the time. Other ones can probably do it too.

I was in the same position awhile ago but I had an MLB youmu and Yuyuko.
My advice is use literally every tool at your disposal.
It's tough but you can use Dai and Patchy for wood attacks if you get their power up enough. Stack those P cards, launch those spells, launch the appropriate spread/focus attack then swap them out.

I needed a full team of 6 to do this. Yuyuko, medicine, dai, youmu, alice, [insert other friend here]

For ch3 act 2 boss you should stick with characters who have Fire, Sun and/or Moon on their spread shot. At P0 or P1 works, but for consistency P0 element is best. Suika is the only must in this team, Alterisa and Miko could be replaced by other characters. Nuking is not an issue since both Youmu Oscura and Little Yuyuko have have average hp, in 1T Yuyuko can be taken out together with Youmu's 1st hp bar using LWs in auto. The rest of the fight boils down to the characters using spread shot and break barriers. Suika is a staple for her breaking, survivability and damage even in her basic shots. Try not to use characters weak to Youmu's elements in her attacks, they get one shot.

Use her then. MLB that youmu too, you'll get the dolls back in two weeks and she's strong enough to use in other challenges.
Keep in mind when you use a buff they could last 2-3 turns. It's not impossible to set youmu up for an increase to crit acc and acc for her last word.
Once Marisa's barrier is down those fairies are the only issue.

(Don't forget some units can buff the parties att and acc as well)

I have cirno, patchy, and lily to start but it takes 3-4 turns depending on if I get bad rng on patchy since she needs 1 power to get wood damage, so I need to spell card 1 turn with the Remilia card. Then I switch out for Remilia, ran, and youmu and the last word + ran spell card kills Marissa. By that point though the fairies take way too little damage with all the buffs. If Global does everything the same as the jap version, then you will get 1 doll completely for free and all other dolls will be from the tower or from buying 10k yen item packs. Tower is only released in chunks and dolls are fixed to certain floors so you will need to wait until they release more and more floors. This took months in the jap version.

So what does the Focus stat do in regards to all targetting enemy attacks? Does Focus make it more likely that an enemy will use solo attacks to attack you, or does it make it more likely for the enemy to target you only if they use a solo attack?

Basically, Focus seems useless when every normal enemy has a 50/50 chance to bypass that with an all hitting attack. I haven't noticed if Focus makes them less likely to use those.
