Do show me where these threads "not having a reply in 2 days are", I haven't seen a thread in the past eight months that lasted longer than sixteen hours. The oldest replyless thread on the board right now is 12 hours old, the second oldest seven, and from the last few days thread life averages around ten to six hours at peak.

But yes, nobody is making a concerted effort to keep threads on the catalog and they aren't timing out prematurely, especially old and established generals that have been here for literally a decade:

Also, I suggest paying more attention to the catalog if you think the board's speed hasn't changed. At the moment, the oldest bump on the last thread on the board is just 8 hours old, which might seem like a lot but it's still much faster than /jp/ used to be, and that's only because we're in the middle of dead hours. Thankfully, those 3 hours of life with no bumps aren't the norm, but the fact that such a thing happened just a few days ago is extremely worrying.

The touhou thread is full of disgusting crossboarder replies and the whole thread should be nuked, but at least they're talking about the subject.
