Assuming it hasn't changed from the last beta;

Fighter:
-Close range attacker
-Can deflect bullets
-Also randomly dies to bullets coming from bad angles
-Only class that doesn't die from colliding into enemies
-The class everyone wants in their group because people die to bosses that are easier than touhou stage 1 midbosses.

Summmoner:
-Yukari autoaim
-Awful skills except for sword deflect
-Best bomb in the game, also the fastest charging bomb
-Awesome for clearing stages, terrible on bosses
-Autoaim means you don't have to stay under a boss to damage them

Mage:
-Gundam style lock on
-Really good skills once you level them up
-Best class for traps & set ups
-Good for both stages or bosses, but bosses require a lot of movement prediction

Archer:
-Focuses on shooting straight ahead
-Strongest normal attack
-Destroys bosses in record time
-Pretty mediocre on stages, as they can't hit enemies coming from behind
-Bad at clearing an entire screen, but incredible at clearing a focused portion of it
-Worst bomb


You can switch between the various subclasses, so don't worry about those.

In addition, you can combine various skills (almost like talents from WoW, yes I know wowsux) from the three subclasses to gain new skills and buff the skills you combined.
Considering it falls under the category of "free, boring, generic Korean MMO," this is surprisingly good. However it can get very boring after a while, so hopefully they haven't again increased the exp needed to level from last time they increased it.

One thing for sure the game is easy enough to lvl during the CB.
You can hardly call 1stage/level and spamming the repeatable quest from the items drop(abyss keys come to mind) as grinding.
Pretty sure everyone reached lvl40 in CB in like 1 or 2days.

The score system is pretty retarded.

I duoed the last time I played and we had the high score on nearly every lv25+ map. The dumb part is that score caps out easily, and it only records the first person/group to reach it.

Hopefully they changed that system, because score was pretty meaningless in the last english beta.

Technically, there is no disputing that the game itself is EXTREMELY easy compared to Touhou or any other shooting game. It'll seem like a complete joke to those that have played any Touhou game, even Imperishable Night.
However, if you feel like using mouse-based controls with this game, then you may find an extra level of difficulty not found in Touhou.

Unfortunately, this is true. I really hope this has been improved upon after all these months. In the first English Open Beta, the lag from having 4 people play together caused really weird and lame stuff. It was nothing unexpected from lag in an online game, but lag is obviously unacceptable for a shooting game.

Yes, I am aware that it was actually TOO easy to level for most of that beta even if it was refreshing to have it like that in a Korean MMO. But in the last week or so of that beta, they increased the Exp needed to level, and it was pretty noticeable. So what I meant was that I hope they won't increase that AGAIN. However, it is pretty likely because we all know how much Koreans love to put idiotic, boring grinding in their games.

I can't stand the shot and movement. Is there any way to control which enemy it targets other than just moving close and hoping it chooses that one?

Here's the results of my playing today, as a Mage:
-Shitty shot.
-Movement is ok...only during the actual shooting.
-Shit camera when walking around.
-Picking up items makes me laugh, it takes an entire second to disappear and register.
-Tiny field compared to how big the sprites/hitboxes are.
-Boss flys away, then comes back, partway through the battle. What.
-Gameplay is boring. Wait for shot to lock on, shoot, repeat. Enemies that take multiple hits: spam the button until it eventually dies or flies away.
-Skills were ok, although not as useful as I had hoped. That passive skill creator thing I accidentally found was kinda neat, though.
-Quests: Kill 50 monsters, get exp.
-Character stats: Raise the one stat we specified for your class.
-Tutorial: Pretty bare-bones.
-Character customization: lolwut
-Everywhere is cluttered with crowds.
-Community: "any1 wan party? xD"
-And as always, /jp/ NEVER TALKS, EVER
-Also, not moe enough.

I had more fun playing Touhou all by myself, than playing this game filled with other people. Even ECO was more fun, what with all the shenanigans we got into.

I find it annoying that we can't choose stages. Shit gets reset after boss stage.

Just do fishing when it's night time and cook them up once you've got enough. That should be enough for another 3 or 4 runs before you have to fish again.
