I had the opportunity to speak to the french translator who had his stand at an anime convention in french this weekend. Apparently, the PEGI guys refused to categorize Higurashi as a "game", so instead they rated the bonus mini-games and not the story itself (they said they could only rate graphical violence).

This convention was so full of HK it hurted.
