To be frank Ishuzoku is the closest MG show I have seen to MGE, not there, but similar. If you're in the MGE then anthropomorphosis is a fairly easy spell for monsters to learn. How good they are with it varies (i.e. some can't get rid of all their monstrous features), but getting usable legs is quite doable. Learning to use them properly can take some time though.

Mermaid type monsters can also learn to use their mana to levitate a short distance off the ground and move about that way.

My initial impression was that they were incredibly dutiful and respectful things, clearly taking their 'Goddess' as rolemodels of ladyhood- but this soon began to fall apart. Any time I was out of sight of visitors, or another fox, they began to flirt. At first it was just the faintest whiff of innuendo, leaving me wondering if I was misinterpreting some foxy cultural quirk, but soon enough their intention to 'get in on the Mistress's action' became shockingly clear. The Lady herself brushed it all off when I brought it up to her, she didn't believe her 'wonderfully honourable maidens' would do such a thing.
