Seeing the last two threads, it seem kigs don't kig all that often. Why would you spend thousands for something you do once a month at most for a couple hours. It seems to be the same with cosplayers and many furries. It doesn't seem financially responsible. Is the autism really that high?

Depends on the mask. Mine is too bad to read well, but not too bad to walk around.
Masks generally shouldn't be heavy. Ideally you mess with the padding to make sure it sits comfortably on your head
I can last longer in kig during the winter, but I don't think it really gets that hot even in the summertime
Enough layers of tights to smooth out the padding. If I'm doing to do anything lewd I put on a condom for easier cleanup.
The mere fact that my face is covered helps a lot.

Depends on mask design and maker, the ones I have are generally low visibility, just small slits above the eyes. Having a handler at a con is pretty much required.

Usually lots of padding inside, so they are comfy to wear. They are not that heavy unless you have hard hair, you can wear them comfortably for hours without your neck aching.

Can get very hot indoors or at cons, had to take outdoor breaks a couple of times. More pleasant during the winter, sweaty as hell during summer.

Aside from the hip padding and breastforms, just a pair of underwear that helps smooth out the bulge.

Differs a lot between different masks / makers. Some limit your vision to only straight-ahead (requiring you to move your head to change your view), others are way better. Handlers are not really needed in private locations, but in public spaces you'll probably want a handler close by.

It's nice, putting on the head feels like the moment where you can stop being yourself for a bit. The weight varies quite a bit, personally I've noticed that GKO's are way lighter than other makers. Wig length / weight also makes a big difference.

As hot as you make it yourself. Biggest influence on temp is probably the hot+moist air you're breathing out inside your mask. Lower surrounding temps help with that, as does a lower humidity probably.

Something like a dance belt to keep stuff in place + smooth it out, higher denier tights/leggings to keep the hip pads in place. Hadas usually have a built-in support vest for boobas.
