I see this mentioned rarely whenever card games come up here but last time it did I forgot to post, is Danmaku!! fun? There's not much of it online.

Also talk about other touhou cards and stuff. Would you ever play a touhou board game with your family in real life?

On /vm/ there's a tabletop simulator thread that plays Danmaku!! on Fridays and Saturdays 9pm EST. I promise we are nice people and are more than happy to teach the game for any newcomers.

Yes but since it's a card game meaning there's a lot of rng, sometimes you'll draw an amazing hand and other times you'll draw nothing at all and be useless, which is frustrating. As for other touhou card/board games, most are even english yet

It's pretty fun, even if it suffers a bit from power creep with each expansion and card addition.
Some times it's a basic shoot the enemy and hope your teammates are actually on your side and other times it turns into a complete mess with psy ops left and right.
And sometimes it's all infighting

/vm/ has been working on an optimal table to play it on Tabletop Simulator and hosts games every Friday and Saturday at 9pm EST. So come join if you want to try it out, we usually have a full 8 players and split into multiple tables of we get more.

They are also working on a big expansion that should be coming out late 2022.

I played a game of it with about 5 other people and found the game can really stagnate with people just resolving effects against other effects, maybe we missed a rule regarding players only being able to react a certain number of times. I remember someone mentioned the game felt like a worse version of Samurai Sword, haven't played it myself so can't compare

Their website says there's (at least) two first edition cards that I can't find digital versions for. Player 2 and Tanned Cirno. At least Player 2 is listed on their site, but there's nothing on Tanned Cirno, does anyone know what that one is? And what about the Patreon cards?

Patreon cards will be included in the big box and /vm/ has them mostly added minus a few banned broken characters.
Tanned Cirno is not available online as far as I know, but I think they have said what her effects are on their official Discord so you could recreate her if you wanted to.

Not Danmaku!! related although that is fun go play it but I want to ask about this Yugesai thing. I saw on /jp/ that anon went there to look at Touhou board games.
Is Yugesai like Comiket but for board games? Or is it touhou specific like Retaisai?

If the max hand-size is three, and including the baby, doesn't that effectively only give you 2 cards to actually work with while you have the baby? That's brutal, I'm surprised that was even idea'ed.

Also I've been searching up the site now and how exactly do these mob cards work? They have them for download and I think the patreon has some new mechanic cards too, but I don't see any rules explaining how they work, nor any gameplay videos online with them.

Max hand is 4 and 5 for heroine.
MoBS was the expansion they were working on before corona pushed everything back, it's mostly playable now but the full version will be included in the Big Box which will have another expansion we don't know anything about.

For MoBS you flip a green card after your normal draw, that card will then do it's effect to the current player if it's still alive after the main phase.
If you or another player defeats the midboss the current player gets the card to their hand and can play it, most of these cards work as assist characters, meaning you can have I think 2 of them at max and you can use their effect once per turn.
This can range from free attacks to shit like pic related.

The card you posted isn't necessarily just for MoBS, it's Yamames special deck that is used to track who she has given AIDS to.

1/turn when Cirno plays a Danmaku card against a player with the same season as that card, she draws a card and gets her Danmaku use back
