I was previously in another thread, and found a port for Umineko to the PSP. [http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost.php?p=2727761&postcount=2720]

Has anyone got this working? If so, could you post the resized images in the .arc? I can't seem to get GUI.exe running.

/a/ confirmed for genuine 12-year-old posters.
Show us your DFC and I'll give you a Google link that might help.

ask in animesuki, they should be able to help you

Just get a netbook, bro. Ultimate VN machine.

I got an already converted version off Share for Ep5 and 6
I did ep1-4 myself and worked pretty good.
All in moon though, dunno how that works for you.

Man, I tell them how to do it correctly and they fucked up in redistributing the information. What's this about changing the filenames that include japanese? Only thing I really had to edit out of the script is the opening movies.

I read the readme and considering it was in Japanese, I questioned if I should do it or not... I wasted like an hour changing the file names. Shit sucks, bro.

Pretty much. There is also a way to get the english tips/menus and such using nsaout. Trying to learn moon anyways so I'm going to be removing that junk from my build anyways to try and force myself to learn.

Umineko on the PSP actually originated on /jp/, months and months ago when one faggot got bored.

Nice try though.

Does this work on the old PSP, or is it still slim only?

Looks like no since it shut off the PSP after starting EP1.

I've played 1-4 on DS. Currently reading through episode 5. One screen for "visual" and the other for the "novel". Shit was made for VNs.

Same here, bro. Except it doesn't seem to work with EP4 either.

Apparently I just got it working. However, I don't see any visuals. But I hear sounds when it starts up and when I select things from the title screen. Anyone know what's up? I resized all the image arcs.

>> No.4121755

Does it still have the music and sound effects on PSP/DS?

anyone ever got ep1 to work right? for me it stops sometime after the part where Maria reads the letter. I'm thinking there's a line somewhere that crashes the PSP.

Yeah, pretty much. Good luck getting it working, though.

>So the DS has enough RAM to run Umineko
The DS can't run ONScripter. There is VNDS for the DS, but that's a completely different engine written from scratch for the DS.

Also, the guy in that post is using a 2008 version of ONScripter. It should run on the fat PSP. But that one didn't even work the last time we tried to use it to play Umineko because it ran out of RAM, so I don't know how it's working now.

Here's a more recent version of ONScripter that can use all of the Slim's RAM, in case you need it:

I'd probably get a PSP, just for stuff like this, seeing as I hear the DS version is inferior (Nor do I have the carts or whatever is needed for it I assume)
