Previous thread.

Let's continue to speculate on the end of Umineko. What's your ideal ending? A shipfaggy one? A hobo one? A shipfaggy hobo one?

Also can be an Umineko confessions thread, since that seems to have reduced circlejerking faggotry in the past.

>> No.4337486

>What's your ideal ending?
Witches and whores in the meta-world. Piece Battler tying up everyone and locking them in separate rooms to avoid killings and getting a good end until next year.

>> No.4337487

Culprit is exposed at the same time Meta-Battler checkmates Beato. Battler says he loves Beato then keeps his promise to kill her. After culprit is exposed, all the games flashback and show the different goings on up until the endings (for instance, if Battler's EP 5 theory became true and he became the scapegoat for Natsuhi, the real culprit becomes exposed or purposely exposes him/herself/themselves). I had some other thoughts floating around for it (like Ange getting her Onii-chan back), but that's all I've got for now.

>> No.4337513

I liked >>4333083 and >>4333146 in the previous thread. Repostan.

"....Pieces are fine, Battler goes home to Ange. Moetrice regains all of Beato's memories and remebers how she lolwanted to die. Battler kills her, and as stated before, he starts out calm and prepared but completely just falls apart and breaks right in front of his dying waifu.

Meta-world collapses or maybe meta-Battler just abandons it and leaves Lia and the Stakes and everyone hanging around there, waiting to see if he'll show up. He is a crazy magic ronery hobo who stops to look at every butterfly he sees just in case it's gold.

[discussion cut]

after Battler is a hobo for a couple thousand years and Beato's spirit or presence or what have you has been just kindo of chilling for a while in the game room, she decides she wants some more Battlersex so she starts to try to come back to life or something? Don't put it past R07. Meanwhile, Battler is nostalgic and drops by to see Lia and everyone. He's too attached to leave again, so he just mopes around and not even the Stakes can cheer him up.

Then one day while he's drinking tea he sees a golden butterfly and he's hypnotized by it and the memories of his waifu. He follows it outside...

...where Beato is sitting and also drinking tea. She start to laugh at him for looking stupid and taking so long, but he cuts her off with a tackle hug."

I am hoping for some troll end like The Murder of Roger Ackroyd.

>> No.4337543

bad end in the real world, good baw-end in the meta-world.

something like theres a simultaneous meeting between battler and beatrice in both worlds, but in the real world its the culprit and you hear her sad sob story about how everything went wrong when battler left, then in the meta world they embrace eachother and promise to always be true to eachother.

>> No.4337553

>implying umineko will ever end

>> No.4337583

The culprit is revealed.
The illusion is broken.

Piece battler uncovers the truth, and show how everything happened in each one of the games, until finally cornering the culprit in the last game.

After awesome epic fight the culprit surrenders and repents, Battler hug the ''real beatrice'' and then the seagulls start crying.

Meanwhile at meta world, meta battler is in front of the fading-away meta-beato who thanks Battler for everything and asks him to take care of her creator and her legend.

Battler assures he will, and then Beato fades in golden butterflies and with a smile to never be seen again. Meta Battler cries a lonely tear, waves his cloak and fade away in the endless kakera world.

In fact what rule does Beato symbolize finally? a promise, according to ep 4 and 5?

>> No.4337595 [DELETED]

Realistic ending.

Mystery gets solved, Beatrice ceases to exist because of it, along with the meta world. Culprit is caught in the real world. Only part that gets iffy is deciding if Battler catches the culprit before or after murders take place.

You cannot catch a criminal that has not yet done a crime, but if they're really killing because it involves Battler, a la Shkanontrice or Jessitrice, perhaps piece can confront them before anything happens to avoid the tragedy. Just depends on how much baw you want, I suppose.

Ange gets her onii-chan back and refrains from being totally fucking batshit.

META: Beato asks Battler to kill her, he pussies out in the middle of it and Beato has to keep pushing him even more than the previous time, when all she had to say was YOUR SISTER IS A SLUT and he'd rage and stab her. This has been said before. However, no chickenshit faggotry here. Beato is dead and gone and there is no getting her back. As Lambda and Bern are leaving because Ryu is too attached to them to kill them, one of them taunts Battler about his dead waifu and he just stone cold bitchslaps the whore, then leaves the game room without another word. Shkannon is piece-Beatrice, Jessica is the mastermind. Jessica likes Battler, but the last time she saw Battler he was acting derpy over Shkannon. Jessica is jealous of Shkannon because Battler pays attention to the crazy meido and not to his cousin, who is tsundere for him and beats him up as part of her tsun side. However, Shkannon is also Jessica's friend, seeing as how she can comfort Moon-chan after Kinzo rapes her because she's next in line for the family head or something like that.

So when Battler comes back to Rokkenjima, Jessica manipulates her crazy maid BFF into killing everyone. In EP2 the murders get more complicated, so maybe Shkannon snapped and Jessica didn't have to convince her to kill anyone. EP3, Jessica commits the murders herself, which is why there's no remorse for Maria or Rosa - though Evatrice is still a stupid bitchy whore regardless of this.

the thing abut the promise is that
-Battler didn't give much importance, maybe his father taught him about it
-X gave it A LOT, X had been trapped in Rokkenjima living autterly shitty life, then Battler comes and says whatever giving X a little hope
-Battler leaves, X continues with her shitty life while waiting, and waiting, becoming more and more desperate because Battler isn't coming back
Having a hope sometimes is WORSE than not having one
But as you say maybe Battler did an actually good promise, with preparation and so on, but it'd impossible to remember because that year:
-mother dies
-father remarried
-Kyrie got pregnant
-he left home
Even if it was important to him, he forgot it, and meanwhile X is just accumulating hate against the Ushiromiya family

Meta Battler fuses with the real world Battler. Battler finds the gold and becomes the head. Battler takes command of the family and prevents the culprit killing anyone. The culprit only kills people when they stray from the group. Battler returns to Ange, but then moves to Rokkenjima. Krauss, Natsuhi and Jessica move off to that other house Krauss mentioned. All the people who MORE THAN ANYTHING NEEDED A LOT OF MONEY RIGHT NOW are fucked until suddenly a letter from themselves arrives at their door which solves all their monetary problems. ShKanon(trice) splits into 3 people via the magic of love. George lives happily with Shannon. Jessica lives happily with Kanon. Battler lives happily with Beatoriiche. The culprit is never revealed but the culprits to each episodes are implied at heavily. Many people in the story murdered in different gameboards. Bonus points if the ending could still be interpreted as ShKanontrice being one person but Battler/George/Jessica seeing it differently with love.

"The six younger sisters are fine~ But I sure owe Lucifer for EP3~ You gouged me so many times with that stake of yours, grinding grinding, grinding grinding grinding! Aah, just remembering it pisses me off!"
"Ahh, in that caaase, I think this time Battler-sama should gouge into Luci-nee instead."
"I think that's a great idea! Until Battler-sama feels satisfied, I think he should bully her all night loong!"
"Wh...What are you guys talking about?! H-Hey, let go of me!"
"Oh, I know, Lucifer-onee-sama. Your back is your weak spot, right...?"
"Wai... L-Levia?! H-How do you know that?!"
"Everyone knows your weak points! You were the only one who thought we didn't know, weren't you?! You're too careless, onee-sama!"
"Hoh-hoh-hoh-hoh, so her back is her weak spot, is it, hoh-hoh-hoh-hoh!"
"St-Stop! Do you think I'll surrender if you do that?! Do you really think I'll cry and beg for forgiveness?!"
"Ah, shut up, shut up! Know my grudge from that day you tortured me by grinding and gouging into me! Is it around here? Around here? Take that, there, there, there!"
"Ahhiiiiiiiiiiiii!"
"Or is it around here?!"
"Ahaaaaa! Noooooo, please forgive me, Battler-samaaaaaaaa, auaaaaaaa!"
He finally got the chance for revenge he never had in the original story. Battler complacently ground against Lucifer's back...

"How do you feel, Battler-sama? Are you refreshed?"
"Yeah, I feel great... My long-standing grudge has been totally cleared up, and I feel all fresh, like I've finally shed my skin!"

Lucifer's shoulders heaved as she caught her breath. She had collapsed with her clothes in disarray, and it looked very much like the aftermath of something.

Speaking of that TIP, Battler says Gohda, Nanjo, Kumasawa and Genji come to him first, then he says it looks like all the adult servants are here. Implies Nanjo is a servant. Also, in episode 6, instead of Ronove and Virgilia, Kumasawa and Genji act as Meta Battler's servants. Kumasawa even just changes to Virgilia at one point. I want to say this implies both Gohda and Nanjo have their own fantasy equivalents, like for example the goats, and Gaap, as has often been suggested.

At the end of Ep 7, Battler finds out the truth (once again). Instead of being the Game Master for the next game again, Lambda makes Battler go back in time, and create the mystery correctly, by creating the Ushiromiya family from the ground up, just like kinzo

Battler arrives in the past, creates that big earthquake that killed the Ushiromiya family. Oh, he possibly brings Moetrice along with him, and she becomes Kumasawa/Virgillia in the end of all this.

Basically, he has to raise everybody in the correct way, make Eva hate Krauss, move Natsuhi in the house, make Rosa a crazy bitch, and basically make all the events that make the murders happen.

He gives up Moetrice, who goes on to live her own life as Kumasawa, because Moetrice got old and ugly. He tries to resurrect Beatrice over and over etc Battler is Kinzo.

Battler lays on his death bed, and Lambda tells him congratulations he solved the mystery, and then he dies. The arc finishes off with everybody living, except possibly a few people (because Battler manages to solve everything before all hell breaks lose, because Meta-Battler/Kinzo solved everything)

The end, Battler doesn't get Beatrice, a few people die, Ange gets her brother back.

Sadly this probably won't be the end, but I like it.

Know what I can see coming? Greentext.

Ryukishi will introduce a new color of text, green.
The green text can only be used to quote something which was said at an earlier time by anybody. All of the characters start abusing the green text, twisting the entire game out of context.
This leads to much confusing and anger. Many senseless theories pop into Battler's head, and so he presents them to Beatrice. However, this displeases Beatrice and the others, who then decide to abuse the green text further to make it seem like Battler was implying things which he actually wasn't.
Naturally, this drives Battler insane. He tries to counter the green text with blue and eventually red, but that only makes matters worse. It's only a matter of time before he is forced into submission.

His mind breaks. He can't handle the strain anymore, and he loses his mind. He begins spouting nonsense all over the place, and nobody can make sense of any of it.
He desperately tries to bring the old Beatrice back, the Beatrice he fell in love with, but to no avail. It takes over his life, becomes his obsession, the only thing keeping him going. He secludes himself in his study, and starts practicing all sorts of black magic.
Eventually, he finds something. He finds that, so long as he sacrifices enough people, he can bring the old Beatrice back. So that's what he does. He sets up an elaborate game in which many people die in inexplicable ways, ways which, at first glance, can only be explained through magic.

What would have been "Land of the Golden Witch":
People also wonder whether content from "Land of the golden witch", which was removed from EP3, was included in EP5.

Ryuukishi: I definitely can't tell you that! It's true that the most vital part of "Land of the golden witch" is in there, but it's such a terrifying bit. Furthermore, it's something that neither Battler nor Erika nor Bernkastel has ever brought up in discussion. Maybe they didn't even realize that it was a riddle. Well, you'll probably find out soon. In EP6, a huge bit of red text info will appear regarding this point......according to the current plan.

How many players have noticed what this content is so far?

Ryuukishi: Zero. ...Well, I'd like to say that, but I can't. This content is extremely venomous. Very powerful.

Is this content deeply related to solving the crimes?

Ryuukishi: I think people who have found the "answer" probably won't have any problems. I wonder if they've realized it's a trick...... It's a very dirty trick.

To put it another way, is it possible to reach the truth of the crime if you haven't noticed this trick?

Ryuukishi: That's hard to say. If you don't see through the part from "Land of the golden witch", you definitely won't be able to reach several vital answers.
However, that content was never really necessary in the first place, so you can reach the truth of the crime with it or without it. Still, it's just so venomous that there's a chance you'll be totally confused. Depending on the situation, it's likely to cause a certain misunderstanding.

In episode 6, pretty much all the red is about the closed room that seems to imply Shkanon.
tl;dr: the thing in episode 5 was Kanon and Shannon being in the same room as Erika and Battler.
>I wonder if they've realized it's a trick...... It's a very dirty trick.
the trick is two things. That unless it's from the detective's PoV, it isn't trustworthy, even if they are in the same scene. Therefore since Erika never has her own PoV much of her detective authority is wasted. The second trick is that "person" can mean "personality", the last red in episode 6 shows that.
