Run anchor.exe (or Emuera, depending on the game), Japanese locale is advised so you don’t run into untranslated text.
If you wish to manually update, delete old files aside the sav and dat folders to avoid any bugs.

Alright anon, I'm going to teach you a lesson now, so listen carefully. In TW, abilities increase like so:
SOURCE -> PALAM -> PALAMLV -> JUEL -> ABL.
When you execute a commend, SOURCE values increase. Those are the numbers you see at the top, like affection and joy. SOURCE values are immediately converted through fancy math into PALAMs (parameters). We can see our PALAMs below. Those PALAMs contribute towards your PALAMLV, which shown by the little bars above a character when you're in the same room with them. At the end of the day, you gain a certain amount of JUEL (Gems) based on each PARAMLV, and those contribute towards leveling up your ABLs. You can see your progress to the next ABL level by hovering over it with your mouse in the character menu.
We can ignore SOURCEs, they don't really matter. The important part is looking at the parameters you're gaining, and prioritize hitting higher PALAMLVs since gem gain scales exponentially with them. If we look at our image, Favor (Care) corresponds to Intimacy and Desire corresponds to Lust. So watch your training messages to see what commands are giving what, and use the abilities menu to see how close you are to raising your girl's intimacy level.
The reason it's so confusing is because Era games were originally slave trainers and gems were a currency, so you'd spend gems to level up different abilities and buy things like pain and submission marks. TW just handles this all automatically so some of the steps in the process which the player needed to manage aren't really relevant anymore.

The one that made the most impact was a gappy story about a guy that had sound related powers that had to wear headphones all the time, also lived in Hakugyokurou for what I assumed was writer bias. It wasn't anything more than your average gappy story but it was at least well written, the guy used to dump it in a blogspot page he later nuked for some reason. Heh, I made the mistake to choose akyuu as trainer the first time I played seriously.
She has a warning screen about how she is pretty rough even for reverse, warning that I didnt took seriously for some reason back then, and holy fuck that was a ride. I still have that pic to illustrate said run and feet licking is the lesser of your concern with akyuu.
But yeah, reverse does deserve it's nickname of "feet licking simulator".
You just have to understand that you can only lightly direct the AI with your actions to get what you want.

That's a fundamental flaw, removing the interactivity from a game.
On one hand you have no distinction from any other old slave trainer, you could just have an RNG on hand and select whatever command gets rolled yourself. You don't choose, the npc doesn't choose, it just happens, text and the numbers move on the screen. Which should not be the case for a game - and isn't fully in Reverse, you still have very limited control during and outside training - but this issue would be easily fixed by giving the player a bit more agency over their reactions to what the ai picks. Game is still about the "journey", even if the destination is the same. I'm complaining that you cannot really roleplay like you want, if your character chooses his own reactions anyway. You don't get to choose when for example you fall in love or if even at all, it's just decided for you. Kinda makes your PC an NPC.
On the other hand you have other era games that do have situations where the trainee can push you down, this option is missing from reverse. Special unique events are usually a thing, not an option in reverse. Being okay with certain actions, but disagreeing with others is always a thing, but you might not even get the option to refuse in reverse. Like the urination command for example.
Go all in on the "era but reverse" angle, with all the possibilities that brings, or give the player more control to make the simulation suited to their taste, since it's just porn anyway.

Wrong. There's a little, but it obviously should be expanded upon. Why even bring this up? If you want more engaging gameplay, I don't see why can't there be some minigame that changes some things around. Like TW's direction training to make it possible to just hard deny an action. Would that be a bad thing?
Of course the general objective is still to get off to the story about how you fucked the 2hu, with a stipulation that the 2hu made you do it. It's all the context that's needed, and in my opinion game mechanics shouldn't try their best to ruin it with unwanted fetishes. Example, futa is locked behind a hefty mana requirement, torture needle, rope bondage etc. are locked behind something you have to click to enable too. Why not make pissing, feet, or whatever else that's contentious in the same way? You pick what the 2hu buys for you and herself already.

As it is now, reverse is basically "finished." This isn't TW, it's not under active development. Nobody has touched it for years on either the Japanese side or the English side, so I'm judging it by the content it currently has, and that just doesn't match what you're asking for.
