This one’s from the Kanicream Chococorne album 蟹生擬乳劇場第五章～ある晩～, it’s got a lot of djent riffs and synth plus the artwork has some of the most beautiful eyes I’ve seen.

Chococorne Anon here, my other album cover I really love is Takamachi Walk’s Shattered. It’s doujin Metalcore and it captures a sense of longing along with a mystical aesthetic with its sound. I’m open to recommendations if any of you can spare some Trance, Metalcore, or Djent Touhou Albums.

Why is Touhou music SO big anyway?
They don't get much exposure but after you actually look for them they are innumerable, and even the most obscure bands has held a live performance or two.

Yes, some doujin circles got youtube channel and produced popular music and MVs like IOSYS, Demetori, Akatsuki Records, Shibayan, etc and quite a number of mainstream folks know about them. There's also the mildly popular ones that Touhou fans know and actively seek out like GITR, RD-Sounds, Tamaonsen, etc. and has their songs on music hosting sites. Those one I've mentioned so far has held several live concerts and are expected to present in Touhou event.
Then you get something like Tengu no Mai, 8989m, Anagram, Diabolica Phantasma, tons of metal bands, etc that are like completely unknown until you dig deeper, then you found out they have quite number of activities and inner circle, and they are quite numerous too. That's what I'm talking about. Something underground that's even below doujin scene yet their number and activities are nothing to sneeze at. Taking that into account the whole Touhou music scene is just TOO big.

Was debating between this and Fast Forward to the End of East, but I prefer the moody atmosphere of Permutation Suicide's artwork. I also like the logo design more; warinside is a pretty good graphic designer, I believe he did the cover art for his Undertale albums.

If it's not in the TLMC scans then it probably never got a proper scan. Don't forget to try second hand stores like suruga-ya, toranoana and melonbooks too.
It's rare that an album this old will show up but you never know.

I can think of at least one other album covers with the same concept (Merry and Renko on the moon with musical instruments), so there's probably several more, but that's not a problem when it's so good.
