That somewhat falls into the domain of blueshifting.
In physics, and give me some rope here, blueshifting is when an object in 3D space appears slightly more toward the blue spectrum than usual because it is moving toward the observer.
Magic Blue can "draw" a future event toward her faster than it's supposed to approach. I can make next tuesday happen right now, for instance. The mana I will have next tuesday can be used right now. The knowledge I will have next tuesday I will obtain right now.
And redshifting is the opposite. When things move away from you, they lean toward the red end of the spectrum. If Aoko can redshift time as well, that would mean that the stomache I have right now can instead be pushed to next tuesday, which she presumably used to "delay" souji's death.,

There's a theory in physics that Time is how we 3 dimensional lifeforms perceive the 4th dimension. You and I are 3 dimensional beings. Length, Width, Depth.
Now imagine for a moment that you are a 2 dimensional lifeform. Length and width. A 3 dimensional object in 2 dimensional space could be perceived as pic related, where you and I (2D) live in the green box. Now apply that to the 4th dimension. What we perceive as being a "future event" could be a 4th dimensional object existing in one 4th dimensional moment.

Aoko's magic, potentially, is the ability to perceive said 4th dimension, which is how she shifts an event. Imagine if that 2 dimensional lifeform had the ability to move that hand in 3D space. That could be how Magic Blue works.
But since the actual mechanics of it can't be perceived by a human brain (unless you're the 5th magician), then it's true magic.

Well I'm sure he had some sort of plan. He didn't just randomly take 2 pupils before his death. And Melvin used some AoG magecraft to bury him or something so there's something fishy going on. Van Fem did confirm he was truly dead though although maybe there's some trickery in that scene but I'm too lazy to reread it. It really felt like early case files again all of a sudden. I think the planet foundation changes in Tsukihime compared to Fate. You have the 27 DAA in Tsuki, Arc's Canopy and CM being active. In OG Tsuki it humanity is meant to undergo an extinction event so absolute the directors of Atlas went insane because they couldn't see a different future.
Though even in non-Tsuki worlds like Extra and Tsuki no Sango the planet is still doing fine 1000 years in the future while humanity has almost declined.

They say the characters don't become DAA. Implying that it never happened not that they were DAA that later lost their power. ORT came back as a servant because he takes in the qualities of whatever he consumes. He consumed enough servants to reverse engineer the Throne of Heroes and created the Throne of ORT wherein he could summon himself infinitely.
In other words, we had enough firepower to kill ORT, but in standard Nasu fashion compatibility won out. He was killed but due to his compatibility against servants he came back and was only permantnely defeated by Kuku destroying his spirit origin.

Basically it could keep summoning itself so long as the heart was still around and exploding it along with whatever ORT form currently existed is how to remove it for good. In other words had ORT actually had its heart you could kill it in one go if you can produce a strong enough attack. Immediately after he stabs Shiki, the full flashback should play and should end with a CG of kid SHIKI's crazy face making the same look as this one and then immediately cutting back to the present.
