Her first fucking spellcard almost always takes either a life or a bomb. I don't know why but everything else is easy beens. I have an easier time against Meiling and Sakuya than I do her for some fucking obscure reason.

Stage 3, Meiling as the midboss

Her spellcard nearly ALWAYS gets me. It's utterly infuriating because I can take her boss form and the rest of the stage out no problem, but that fucking midboss spellcard nearly always makes me blow a bomb or a life

Alternatively, if non-spellcard answers are acceptable, those motherfucking books right before Koakuma during stage 4. I can count on one hand the number of times I've gotten past those without blowing a bomb. It drives me insane

Yeah, icicle fall isn't on Hard, either, which is what I usually play, so I got confused I guess

If you position yourself right in front of her, the icicles won't be able to hit you. In exchange she'll fire more of those yellow bullets at you. A lot more.

the only time i've gotten past Icicle fall without a headache was when i positioned myself right behind her, but then i wasn't able to hit her.

Stay in the triangle.
Dodge only the yellow bullets. I don't remember if they aim or not. If yes, it's pretty simple.
If necessary, follow the red arrow when the icicles approach your triangle and then get back in the middle.

Consistently, China gives me the most trouble. I've even gotten to a point of snatching Patchy's spellcards thee times out of five, but fuck that leggy gardner gate guardian right to hell

I don't really have any problems with all of Marisa's SC, in fact I have really huge problems with only one of them, and that's her first one, the one with big stars coming from above and little ones coming from the sides (plus some aimed little stars coming from above in Hard mode).
