Rin made fun of Archer hypothetical wish which was about saving the world. Shirou previously answered the same wish beforehand.
Another one is Rin mentioning that Archer didn't want Saber to be a servant when Shirou went on a rant about Saber becoming a permanent servant.
There is also Shirou using a black bow and transforming a stick into arrows. This shit is so obvious in hindsight especially when you see Archer pulled the same shit in UBW.
As for Shirou's behavior, I remembered being frustrating with how he act. Yes, the story did hint about there being something wrong with him, but having the full context in mind made Shirou very understandable.

The basement scene under the church is very noteworthy.
Also it had a Body, Mind and Soul theme going on for it.
Saber training Shirou's body mainly to have a sense of self-preservation.
Rin training his mind to understand projection more.
Then Archer showing up at night to tell him exactly what he needs to hear.
It also has neat tidbits about how Shirou uses his magic. He likens projection to the "eight stages" of shooting in Archery
at the bridge alone after talking with Kirei, when he realizes he loves Saber

In Fate, for example, he clearly gets over his PTSD during the church basement scene. In UBW, he gets over it by confronting Archer's life and death and understanding why he was REALLY following that ideal.

You need to experience the vanilla approach to things before you can fully appreciate things going off rail in UBW and HF.

HF's key scenes draw parallel to Fate, right down to the dialogue.

They are literally incapable of making FGO2. Their shitty Sakura Kakumei game had the biggest budget of any Japanese gacha game ever and died in 4 months because it was so terrible, FGO is still missing basic features every other gacha has 8 years in, several servants still have launch animations and sprites. Development actually has gotten WORSE since Aniplex took over.
Aniplex would need to hire a different company in order to create FGO2, and there really isn't a Japanese company they can hire because they're all so far behind the chinks and koreans. I can really only think of 3 Japanese studios that could make FGO2 a "modern" game

The most we've ever gotten have been gag filled no committal stuff when it comes to post main game stuff. Happened with Fsn, Tsukihime and to a degree Mahoyo thanks to that extra chapter.

Nah. Sequels is not something they really do so why try and force it? The one exception is Mahoyo I guess, but that didn't pan out obviously. It would better if Nasu actually made new stories. It can have the same general backdrop but I don't give a single shit if it technically takes place in the F/SN timeline, Tsuki timeline or whatever. Of course, he needs to finish the Tsukihime Remake first before anything else. That goes without saying.

In fact, I have the book, but I put it aside to re-read all KnK instead. That's how little I care for it. It had some good ideas and parts, especially volume 3, but in my opinion Sanda is just squandering it in the later volumes. The cast is just way too big and lacks focus.
