Now thats ancient, so far you are missing some important shipgirls and remodels but those can be obtain in normal maps and with leveling, people say it would take some time to catch up but in KC terms thats not a big issue, there are limited drops that could help you like Fletcher and some quests with good equipment as well.

Try to level your subs, the last event took people for surprise because it needed good subs.

Just checked my Ooi (C sub, TSLO in RE, 23 luck). With two 15.2 1930 bofors (+4/+0) which have fit bonus on her she gets 160 shelling accuracy.
Now with two 8inch mk.9 mod.2 (+6/+6) she gets 159. Totally worth it imo.

I just barely finished this event 甲甲乙乙 in time because I started late. It's gotten harder to get the motivation to start earlier because of how long events take, and because the tag situation has gotten insane. I used to start as soon as E-1 fleets were figured out without caring if I used someone who would have been useful in the EO or something but now I can't risk it because every map has multiple tags so I actually have to keep track of where everyone will go.

KC3 runs into a lot of problems because it is at the mercy of whatever stupid features the Chrome devs decide to unexpectedly release. The devs also write spaghetti code and aren't interested in making things run better. I only used it because I was forced onto linux for a few years and it was the only viewer I could find that worked there. It look like Poi works on linux now so I think it'd be worth including as a linux alternative.

Not him, but new quests get their own sections on the wiki and most old quests have already been done. For the remaining one timers, I check the rewards if it's in one of the small categories or it's a recent one that would be near the end of the list, or the reward amount is unusual enough for ctl-f. Most of what's left after that are for specific ships, where their names can be searched for. Otherwise, I scribble part of the moonrunes into google translate or jisho.org and ctl-f for that. It only really gets time consuming in the rare cases where the wiki has an error. It's not outdated, but it does occasionally have typos.

For repeating quests like quarterlies and monthlies, I just log how I did them in my spreadsheet and refer to that list every reset.

if you mean how do I know which quest is which I usually look for runes that I can recognize like 改 is remodeled or numbers is usually some destroyer division and then cross reference the other runes to the quest page in the wiki. the real answer though is that I mostly gave up on doing quests.
