If you would kindly, find me a torrent/download or something for this album. It's an amazing album from what I've heard.

Demanding, aren't we.

Well, it's rock with female vocals, so if it isn't your cup of tea, forget about it.

NEET released it in oggs. So its pretty fucking easy to find.

This is why you get FLAC or some other lossless format. Not only can you convert between lossless formats as much as you like you can also transcode to any lossy format for your hardware players without it sounding like shit.

Lossy to lossy conversions degrade the quality even further.

FLACfags always have to shit up a thread with their audophile elitism. Nobody even mentioned anything about quality, so just go away.

>> No.5371746

Also, ogg is better than mp3.
It's free and royalty free, can achieve higher quality and bitratees at lower sizes.

What?
Even if you think FLAC is a waste of space you can just transcode into whatever format you like and delete the FLACs after.

>>5371741
Transcoding from one lossy format to another (or even just the same format) rapes the quality of your music. That's fact.
I'm not even an audiophile, I just like having perfect copies of my music.

Hearing the difference now isn't the reason to encode to FLAC. FLAC uses lossless compression, while MP3 is 'lossy'. What this means is that for each year the MP3 sits on your hard drive, it will lose roughly 12kbps, assuming you have SATA - it's about 15kbps on IDE, but only 7kbps on SCSI, due to rotational velocidensity. You don't want to know how much worse it is on CD-ROM or other optical media.

I started collecting MP3s in about 2001, and if I try to play any of the tracks I downloaded back then, even the stuff I grabbed at 320kbps, they just sound like crap. The bass is terrible, the midrange...well don't get me started. Some of those albums have degraded down to 32 or even 16kbps. FLAC rips from the same period still sound great, even if they weren't stored correctly, in a cool, dry place. Seriously, stick to FLAC, you may not be able to hear the difference now, but in a year or two, you'll be glad you did.

Oh right, the famous "digital dust" theory. I still can't tell if this is trolling or people actually believe it. Either way you know, even if it was true, it wouldn't matter. You can easily re-download whatever you need pretty quickly these days. And when's the last time you listened to an MP3 that you haven't listened to in 9 years?

As if 99% non-doujin related cannot be effortlessly found by typing "album name site: mediafire/megaupload/etc.com" because I'm not a faggot who downloads FLACs off of what.cd that takes up around 600MB for a 45 minute album that sounds exactly the same in 320 lossless, even with top of the line headphones.

The only reason why some people find torrents of doujin music is because there are still a shitton of albums still not on megaupload, mediafire, etc.
