ITT we recommend games produced outside of Japan to our fellow Generals.

I think you folks might like Evil Genius. It's Dungeon Keeper with secret underground lairs and satellite-mounted doomsday weapons.

Also, everything ever produced by Bioware, but especially Mass Effect 1 and 2.

Boring as hell, though.

I'd rather recomend something like Age of Mythology and Age of Empires(except the third one).

I on the other hand consider this thread just fine. "Recommend live action series/movies" threads in /a/ are great. So like there, 3DPD for animefags, here gayming for touhoufriends should work equally well.

My contribution:
- Serious Sam HD (crank it to Serious, it's like danmaku in 3D. Seriously.)
- Nexuiz (extremely fast paced free online shooter)
- Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of The Earth (scary shit, like classy scary, not Doom 3 scary. youkai hunt you.)
- Homeworld 2 (old but give it a try damnit, too good to elaborate)

Why would /jp/ want to play Bioware games? We've already got enough experience with VNs to get more than enough bad writing to last a lifetime, there's no point seeking out more.

But /jp/ is always interested in "virtual orgasmic rape", especially when its just a push of the button away.

Evil Genius is slow, boring, and for such a great concept, the execution is lacklustre. It's just two goddamn maps and not good at that. Also, buggy. No wonder Elixir went under.

Baldurs gate series especially bg2

if playing the first one as well use easy tutu to use the bg2 engine which allows for higher resolution and such.

Off-topic threads like this remind me of normals, so reported.

Most of /jp/ are normals, given that normal person is someone not religious, hikikomori and/or pedophile rapist.

Shattered Horizon is amazing FPS, something new since Tribes.

The original AvP is mindblowing. The latter editions suck.
