Playing Umineko 7/Oretsuba
Last I finished was probably Baldr Sky, but I don't really remember.
Looking forward to Steins;Gate and Kimi ga ita Kisetsu.

I'm still stuck playing Yumina (Game Timer: 150 hours+), currently on my third run - Ai Route, SH mode.
Last game I finished was the Akatsuki Series.
I'm looking forward to Oretsuba and its FD.

Last I finished was Baldr Force and Himawari Aqua After, kinda late for Baldr Force though.
It was much shorter than Baldr Sky but pretty great on its own, Genha was an awesome antagonist.

Himawari AA was an amazing end to the story, Cosmos was great.

Now I'm waiting for Janen Hen, fucking where.
Also downloading some doujin VNs I'll probably start tomorrow, including Omega no Shikai since I heard good things about it.

Last finished was Swan Song. It was good, but didn't feel particularly special to me.

Anyone constantly get in the dilemma of whether you should finish something you've already started, even though you're not particularly motivated, or install something new that you actually want to play?

Happens to me way too often, because it seems pointless to play something you're not motivated for, but I hate letting too many unfinished ones gather up.

Ane ni mo Makezu ~Onee-chans wa Shigekiteki!~
I played the wrestler's sister (blue haired) route already, was pretty hilarious with the american trap constantly saying engrish japanese in the middle of the wrestling, and the femdom was pretty great.

I'm currently playing the sadist urologist sister's (pink haired with glasses usually) route now.

I'm pleased that similarly to Doutei Clinic, this game has a whole bunch of fetishes I like and it isn't a snorefest.

The only point I can complain about Majikoi is the H scenes. Sometimes they pop out of nowhere.

Atlas and machine tools are enough to get the gist of conversations, but not enough to actually understand a lot of lines. It's like having a jigsaw puzzle. Atlas can give you a tiny snapshot of the box so you can mostly tell what it is, but it's a lot more work to put together the piece and see the whole big thing.

Only ATLAS? I use AGTH, but I mostly rely on voice and JParser because I can't read kanji. ATLAS is really terrible for conversation in my experience, though it can do okay on narration depending on the amount of kanji (more==better).

Most people coming in to play eroge with Atlas are people that watched anime for like 4-5 years so they have some pretty decent speech recognition. That's how I got by at first at least.

I think you just generally stay away from VNs with a lot of slang. Even though I don't use ATLAS, I sometimes have to drop a VN that contains too much slang, because I'm not used enough to the language to get it.

It's a tool that's part of Translator Aggregator for converting kanji to romaji. If you're interested in TA, search hongfire for it.

i'm using mecab, you can select between romaji, hiragana and katakana for your furigana display, never used jparser before

You can do the same with JParser, I just always used it for romaji so that's what I mentioned. They do pretty much exactly the same things, just with different dictionaries.

kinda new to the VN deal and I'd like to know what translator stuff are good to use. I am good experienced with Japanese, but I'm not well versed enough to recognize all of the hundreds or thousands of kanji that could show up and I would hate to have to look them up over and over.

I've downloaded the aggregator, and currently downloading mecab and atlas. Do those just need to be installed, or do they have to be put in the aggregator folder somewhere?

Sometimes I wonder how I determine stuff what I play next. as I have huge backlog and there are so much more high profile things to read. But anyways, currently Playing Custom Reido 4, it pretty fun and enjoyable, and fap worthy. Story wise it's utter garbage, but does it job, atleast I can facepalm at the genericness of it, but that really isn't the reason someone would play it anyway.

Last one I finished was KonoUta, it had potential to be great, but the writers didn't know quite exactly what they were doing, so it fell bit short on some aspects. But nevertheless it was still enjoyable experience for me.

Really looking foward to DiveX, can't fucking wait as hugge Baldr fag. It's nice to have more stories with the characters, and in gameplay there seems to be a lot to do. Also finally can use other characters, can't fucking wait to beat shit out of everything with Sora or Muramasa. Also Giga hear me, add a fucking multiplayer to it please, shit would be so cash.
Other than that reeally looking foward to Steins;Gate too.

I recently got this to work, but it translates too MUCH text, (the game shows only one line, but the aggregator shows everything that shows up on the page I guess you could call it. It also shows/translates it twice. Also honyaku doesn't show anything, since it's over 500 characters

so how do you fix it?

According to EGS consesus, yes; she wasn't necessarily my favorite character, but her route was probably the best one so far. I don't know to what degree she qualifies as "loli" though; more like she's severely underweight.

Not really sure what you are asking here. I could type up rough 5 line summaries of each route I've played so far, but after thinking about it a while, I realized they would only spoil the game without sounding very interesting in themselves. Anyway (spoiler) the four main heroines - Kuro, Shisam, Kisara and Rui - are all humanoid manifestations of non-human creatures and concepts, and each route is mainly about the heroine in question's past and relation to human folklore (such as the Bible, sailor legends and so on). After you've completed these routes, the choice to the stowaway girl's route (which I have yet to play) opens up - I'm expecting a bunch of stuff that was earlier left unexplored to be touched on here.

Meanwhile, the 360 version of Phantom got delayed to 2011. That, coupled with the fact that this is Nitroplus's third delay this year, and the fact that their first VN of this year has just been released, makes me wonder about what exactly they're doing behind the scenes. Oh hey I played that too some month ago. I vastly preferred the ojousama myself over the other two heroines. I didn't particularly like the futa maido's voice if I recall.
By the way if you want to play the second game, be advised that it contains yaoi too as the protag from the first game has sex with the shota you control in the second game. It has some other gay stuff in too so I passed on playing it.

Anyhow everyone liking femdom should play ドＳなお姉さんは好きです . It really is a great fetish game with superb characters (the fujoshi with her sister is the best).

Not too excited about her, but I'll probably give her route a try later, since it's bound to be the one they put most effort into. Not sure if I'll bother with Megumi.

I loved her voice when it was calm and collected, but it got kinda annoying when she got really caught up in the sex scenes. I guess that's what you should expect from low budget eroge voice actors, not very versatile.

It seemed like a promising title from the moment I heard about it, and I still hear good things, but it kinda seems like it could go a little beyond my delicate tastes, as I don't like the women being TOO sadistic. That's what I liked about Yurie from 少女連鎖, she usually preferred being on top, but she was always really gentle and nice about it (unless her sex drive went a bit out of control).
