No. Not now anyway. My faggy Dutchman shop doesn't have preorders. I've looked into a creditcard and it seems like this is a no-go. So I'm going for paypal now but my bank and Paypal don't like eachother so it's a hassle to link it to my bank account. And then it'll take a week at least to transfer money to it. Griffon is crappy ... not the worst but its a case of good molds being ruined by shitty quality.

Kotobukiya is not exactly quality tier, even if from some years they been pretty consistent on being acceptable as you cannot even compare a Alter with a Griffon unless unfavorable or how Alter's FH/A swimsuits are very poor.

It's not cause of the speed. SAL shipping is done by boats which tend to be loaded with packages. The packages are handled very roughly and sometimes even lost. If it's not lost, there's still a substantial chance that your figure will be dead on arrival.

I'm sure I will at one point. I'd have no problem building them, the issue is painting. And while there are hundreds of GKs I can think of that interest me, for the most part they are either rare or quite expensive, so I would be apprehensive about buying a pricey kit I really want and then doing a shitty paint job. I'd rather buy one then get it professionally painted but then we're talking hundreds of dollars.

they're only rare and expensive because the non-building collectors that swarm WF just to resell them on yahoo make them out to be. They're just models. This is a common misconception that because it's so precious they're afraid to utilize them as intended. Over time you discover the newer years blow away the prior years as sculptors get better and better. Maybe 5 years ago I would have killed for a Bome but now I'll pay Vispo twice as much and push Bome in the mud to get to the table first.

I'm still slightly put off from importing due to the shipping fees. Do you generally save much money on shipping several at once? And do anyone know shipping difference to Europe from Asia and from America? (just to put that into my account on trying to find cheapest options)

Also I'm loving my Clalaclan Armor Moe Ver. that I got this week, but this figure is really heavy for a 1/8 scale one. She kind of wobbles a bit on my desk.

Apparently she's even heavier than certain 1/7 figs (like Saber Lily) so I hope she doesn't start leaning one day. It's an awesome fig though. One of my favorites now.

The first review makes her look kinda disappointing, she looks better in the second one. In the second review I get the feeling the author got a hold of a better example. It looks okay though, no major flaws. The T system figurines are so-so but I think but their Sanae is their best one, her pose suits her somehow.

I think it's too expensive though. It's a nice figurine but I don't think it's worth near 8000yen.

I will buy it anyway though. The things Touhou fans out up with

I think store and store size. Like in another thread I was complaining about how my larger shipment from hobbylink japan was 1700 for EMS and the smaller EMS shipment from Mandarake was 2800 or something. At least you get what you pay for and they arrive super quickly.
