Not sure if they've changed much from beta 2, but archers were really really boring. Most of their beginning abilities are all unreliable roots that break in 1 hit. You can't really kite effectively without breaking combat. Most of the time you just end up playing like anyone else and mashing 1.

On top of that, they had to spend all of their money on ammo. Money gain has gone up since then, so it probably isn't a big deal.
