Upload/request music using your browser: http://skully.hopto.org

Listen to the stream using your music player: http://skully.hopto.org:8000

FAQ: http://skully.hopto.org/playing.php?page=faq

If the stream is full, please connect to one of the relay servers. More information is in the second post.

>> No.6114404

As of right now, it's possible to upload both MP3 and OGG files, but keep in mind OGG files do not properly display their tags on the site. This means that it'd be best to remove any Japanese from an OGG file before uploading it, if possible.

As always, feedback is always appreciated. Post any error messages you get, post opinions, suggestions, whatever.

Main server holds 7 users. There are a number of relay servers up that automatically redirect you when the main server is full, so don't worry. If you are not automatically redirected, you can manually connect to them. There's a page on the main site to check what relays are currently up.

Here's a list of the currently known relay servers:

http://pyonta-kun.kicks-ass.org:8000 (hosted by Pyonta-kun's Yandere Stalker)
http://hentai.student.utwente.nl:8000 (hosted by leofox!tkMd2Fh4DM)
http://www.yukkurishiteitte.net:8000 (hosted by Kaguya is a !BEaRD8DGAI)
http://doujinplay.net:8000 (hosted by Anonymous)
http://home.kamokow.com:8000 (hosted by Anonymous)
http://kaguya.eientei.com:8000 (hosted by Anonymous)
http://boof.kicks-ass.org:8000 (hosted by BOOF)
http://warosu.org:8000 (hosted by Anonymous)
http://yamaxanadu.tarball.us:8000 (hosted by Anonymous)
http://g.faghats.com:8000/jp.mp3 (hosted by Anonymous)
http://shoutcast1.rootnode.net:1100/jpradio (hosted by Relay 'Server' Guy)

You can still submit logo's for the website. Make sure it's 300x100 and I'll make sure it's in the rotation. Lets see some of that /jp/ creativity.

Also, if you'd like to join our Skype chatroom, you can search for Jaypee Radio. Once you add that account, you should be accepted to the chatroom shortly. It may also be a nice idea to let us know in the thread that you've added the radio account, so we can get to your request faster.

/jp/ Radio is created for /jp/, by /jp/. If you guys have any questions whatsoever, feel free to ask them in this thread.

Take it easy, Anon.
Enjoy the stream!

Seems the skip script works fine. This should also prevent people from skipping 2 songs in a row. You might also noticed that the message in the box not gives correct information about your vote.

If you get the message "Your request was messed up. Reload the main page and try again.", then you failed the verification and thus your skip was invalid. Reloading the main page should fix this. FYI, all the rules are still the same. Sometimes, your skip wasn't counted. That was because of that. Now the script lets you know if your skip was invalid so you can fix it.

Er, not sure what problem you're talking about. You're on the main server and then get booted to a relay? That'd probably be because the main server has reserved slots for relays, if a relay connects and there are no free slots, it boots someone that doesn't have a reserved slot.

If you connect and automatically get redirected to a relay, the main server is full.

The original file isn't tagged either, so the upload script didn't ruin them. Thanks for pointing it out though. The version of the Umineko OP that I just uploaded (by Akiko Shikata) should have a ~Rengoku~ at the end of the title of the track. >> No.6167865

>>6167199
Actually, it is the script's fault. If your track has a ~ in it, everything after ~ doesn't save. I actually forgot about this, but Pyonta was working on solving this one. One of the reasons we didn't use the auto-naming system by default is so we could test for bugs like that before actually implementing it. I don't think there have been any other problems with it though, aside from that.

Wait, what the fuck? ID3 is a mess of unspecified encoding that could be anything at all. (With three different pieces of software, I typically get at least two different interpretations of tags, even with ID3v2.) Vorbis tags are ALWAYS UTF-8. ... But you're having problems displaying Vorbis tags properly? How does this part of your system work?

I don't know, but out of the 3601 tracks there are 68 oggs, while only 7 of these ogg files actually contain Japanese text. I don't think it's that much of a deal right now. I might have an idea, but because the majority is uploading mp3 files, I'd first want to get that working properly.
