I too wish to party and drink with Suika forever..

However Oni take people back with them when they lose bets (like at drinking games) or are found out to be liars. Oni hate the ever loving shit out of liars. I guess they probably adapted that attitude due to the way they used to be killed by humans .. what people did was trick the Oni into doing things that ended up killing it.

And so, now they feel a natural need to remove any trolling humans from the gene pool. Apparently it worked over the years, because now no one in Gensokyo knows how to kill an Oni anymore, and so apparently oni are invulnerable against people for the moment. Not even Patchy knows how to do it, the most she knows is some things that Oni don't like and will leave you alone if you have around.
