I like the art in this game a lot more than Alchemist's, despite probably being done by the same artist. It looks like the portrait artist did the art once again, but with Ryukishi directing the art so we don't have any DEEN faces or everyone having colored eyes that we don't have in the novels, one of the main things that annoyed me in the anime.

I'm really hoping that damage scales differently in the final version. Even with the tagteam sharing the lifebar, there's a blue, yellow, and red lifebar, and most of the supers and combos in that vid barely did about 20% of one bar. And Beato looks like she regains life in one of the clips too.

I don't really think the sprites look that bad for its resolution(the video encode seems to suck), but I agree the animations leave a lot to be desired, which is really unfortunate. It's beyond unlikely that the animations will be improved before release, either.
