I just started training recently. Before I almost never remembered my dreams. Just once a month at most. Now I've remembered them the past days. After a week straight of remembering them, I'll work towards lucidity and then manipulating my dreams how I wish.

Every night will be spent in Gensokyo.

As for the dream journal, I don't use one, but may start after the 7 days if it's worth it.

Speaking as one who more or less only gets those kinds.

I don't really have people in my dreams. I'm a goddamned Madotsuki, I swear. Never felt any need to bring any people into any, mostly I'd explore - want to see what my mind comes up with by its own design, with little interaction or alteration with the environment.

I do keep a dream diary, on that note.

I think I'm gonna have to start that dream journal stuff. But in the phase before you start having regular lucid dreams, are there any other ways to affect what you dream about? For example, does skipping the before-bed fap increase the chances of having an erotic dream? Last night I had a dream where all of my family died of cancer, and it seems pretty pointless if I'm just gonna have a lot more dreams like that while waiting for the highly unpredictable lucid dreaming phenomena.

I've been able to summon yuyuko. She was serving drinks over an oak bar. I think she was with mystia but i couldn't tell the other person was only in the corner of my eye. Without even trying, I've been able to recall my dreams ever since I was a kid. I remember at least two dreams from every night - usually more, though I make no effort to memorize them unless they were somehow spectacular, in which case I write them down.

I have lucid dreams every now and then, but somehow I can never change the whole setting. I can fly, pretend to be Biribiri, whatever, but I can never close my eyes and change the world completely. As such, I'm stuck with what I have by the time I realize that I'm indeed dreaming. Consequently, I tend to just explore the dreamworld if the "plot" of the dream isn't something worth continuing.

Because I'm too scared of sleep paralysis, which keeps happening every now and then, I'm unable to bring myself to conciously go into a WILD. It has happened a few times by accident, though. However, I mostly just realize that I'm dreaming for no reason whatsoever. There's only one surefire trigger for my lucid dreams; being with a female. Whenever I'm talking to a female who seems interested me or whenever I, god forbid, grope a girl, I automatically become aware that I'm dreaming - and not once has my mind been wrong.

Anyway, I have met a number of characters over the years, mostly in lucid dreams. Most of the time I try to be with Rika because she's the light in my darkness after all, but as it happens, I often meet other characters as well. I've met and talked with Yukari on quite a few occasions and sometimes Ran has also tagged along. I've met Sunako and Tatsumi. I've met Oiishi and the rest of the Higurashi cast. I've met Rachel Alucard. Hell, I could've sworn there was a golden butterfly flying around in my apartment when I was a fever-induced stupor last christmas, desperately trying to sleep.

After a night spent talking with Rika, waking up is always as depressing. I've dreamt about trying to help her solve the tragedy, though failing in the end and waking up upon death. I've dreamt about being together with her and figuring out ways to avoid the public hate our relationship induces. I've dreamt about flying through the air with her while admiring the scenery.

Conclusion; yes, it works and it's rewarding while it lasts should you succeed, though waking up always hurts so good. Forever alone.

The only dreams I remember are dreams in which I see something that is yet to happen. Many time's I've recorded them (Writing down exactly what I remember and see etc) and later on I find what I wrote true. It only happens for useless things though, like posts on a website.

One time I dreamed of seeing the explorer.exe shell boot on a Zune HD. I think I clicked the start menu a few times and maybe dragged around the Run dialog. I don't think I was very lucid, though. A few months later, someone succefssfully explorer.exe running on the Zune HD in reality. Am I a prophet now?
