I was in a guild on Grizzly Hills but the last few months I played I could barely motivate myself to play; big problem was I had to get up early for work while lots of the people in the guild worked in the evening and we couldn't start raiding until late. So I'd be going to work on like 3-4 hours of sleep and it was horrible. Eventually the guild disbanded after failing on Sindragosa for weeks and I quit as soon as I completed What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been. Even if I had stayed around long enough I intended to quit when Cataclysm came out, so no way am I going back to it now. Grizzly Hills is a shitty shitty server anyway.

All of my characters had Touhou names (some of them I used last names to try to be a bit subtle) yet I never got a single comment about Touhou or whatnot, only an occasional question if I was Japanese.

Got quite a few well known characters on Aggramar EU along with my own guilds on either faction that I used to play with a handful of friends. Quit about 2 years ago since WotLK was shit from a PvP point of view and after renewing for Cataclysm I can't honestly see why this game is popular, the 'balance' is still as horrible as it ever was combined with the same old handful of battlegrounds/arenas that have been played to death time and time again.. urgh. Oh well, the sooner Guild Wars 2 comes out the better, after seeing FFXIV fail so very badly it's the only game left that I'm looking forward to. The 50 minute raw alpha footage looks fucking amazing already.

Also I must say I felt the usual pity seeing a handful of unoriginal faggots in this thread named after Touhou characters but after seeing countless MMO flavour of the month threads filled with such faggotry I'm not even surprised anymore.

I resubbed when they put the new patch in and I couldn't take leveling up again in the new areas. Went from level 60-71 on my 5 year old warrior as well; I felt like dying (IRL) the whole time. I don't know how people do this.

I had a troll rogue named Mizuhashi and a tauren druid named Kamisirasawa (character limit, had to romanize as si instead of shi) at level 80 and raid geared. Also had an undead warlock named Hakurei, a b.elf mage named Myschi, and b.elf pally + DK named Momizi and Momizii respectively, which I never got to leveling very high since two lvl 80s was already enough work.

When I started playing I wanted to try to find my old TFC clan leader who I had played FFXI with as well, but I lost contact with him and the email I had was dead. So I wound up playing on a random server (Grizzly Hills) and wound up with one of the shittiest in terms of player quality (took forever before anyone beat the LK, we had ONE 5v5 arena team with any significant rating and only a handful of 3v3. Plus I was horde and alliance was the better faction on GH, although that still wasn't saying much)

But yeah I'm not going back to WoW again, it was enjoyable for a while but a year of it was enough. Currently waiting on Wakfu open beta; depending on if I drop CB or WoT I might play Atlantica again for a while... still have a 90 day license pack unused after my intended month break from it turned into a permanent leave.

Threat generation against groups is always a problem for druids though, swipe spam doesn't generate enough and target cycling for maul is tricky and faggots love to decide to target the only one you haven't mauled yet.

Still, druid tank is fuckawesome for leveling purposes; quests give almost entirely dps gear and not tank gear, so other tanks end up with inappropriate gear (and frequently not even tanking spec, especially DKs who think that frost presence makes them instantly a tank). On the other hand druids tank in mostly dps gear anyway and get their tanking ability from talents, most importantly talented crit immunity. I solo quested my druid until Northrend and then I started doing dungeons with the group finder, nearly every group I got was like "fuck yes it's not another DK tank" "holy shit you're so much easier to heal than all the other tanks I get".
