Coffee vs Cola thread!
Which one do you like more /jp/ when you play your favourite touhou game?

If you drink enough coffee it teleports you to gensokyo!
and if you drink cola you lose your precious money you could spend on figurines faster!
it really does but I already had suicide thread today, and my daily dose of bleach inhaling, lets discuss just coffee without killing myself

If I remember right, killing yourself via drinking caffeine drinks isn't effective at all - you'll die from drinking too much liquid rather than from the amount of caffeine.

My family drinks coffee pretty much all day, everyone seems to drink coffee all day here. I guess it's only a matter of time before I drink coffee all day as well.

Tea is EXTREMELY healthy.. polyphenols, catchins, antioxidants, it's one of the healthiest things you can drink.

I don't want to hear shit about fluoride either, because you'd need to drink multiple gallons daily to see any kind of affect from that, and that's assuming that you're drinking the shittiest tea possible (like instant powdered iced "tea" etc)... Quality, refined teas have far less, making it a moot point to bring up.

Oh yeah don't put milk in your tea either, the catechins (one of the extremely beneficial compounds) in the tea get bound up by the caseins in milk and are basically inactivated. Or I guess you can put milk in your tea if you don't care about health benefits.

Coffee also has a lot of antioxidants in it as well; taken in without it being all super sugared/creamed up it is also quite healthy.

fully aware of that, it's just that tea drinkers seem to be a rarity in western continental Europe and the only folk I've known to take theirs with a slice of lemon have been Polish

I drink tea daily, coffee every few days, energy drinks a few times a week and cola occasionally. Tea is my favorite.
The coffee I drink is instant coffee, I like how I can prepare it with just a water boiler (just like tea)
