So what is this board exactly, is it just like /a/ on drugs or is this a power weaboo board that actually contains people that know something about (the non-anime side) of Japan?

It is basically 2D media, games and such that doesn't fit in /a/. As well as figs, kigu, music sometimes etc. We're also the only board on 4chan comprised of little girls. We like to hug other and tickle each others DFC.

This board is for Touhou, visual novels (aka dating sims, although that term is a little restrictive), and figurines.

And being a lonely shut-in.

Anime and manga are to be discussed on /a/. Japan should theoretically be discussed on /int/ but I don't blame you for not wanting to go there. Translation requests go on /lang/, the text board, but since there are a few people here who have achieved some proficiency you may have some luck.

/jp/ hates Japan threads because it makes the board look more weeaboo than it is.
