That ending is kind of stupid. Most of these imply that the world is simply filled to the brim with yukkuri yet this guy paid $108.07 just to kill one family. Seems like a waste of money to me.

Comics involving yukkuri are inherently dumb by virtue off existing.

yeah, from everything I've read you could get one pretty easy if you just left an unwrapped Twinkie out on the street and waited long enough.

maybe part of the fun for him was getting the location of an innocent family in the woods instead of dime a dozen gutter trash.

I assumed the cost had to do with the fact that they are spoiled rotten.
They had food, they had never known danger, they had thriving families, etc.
For an abuser it must be a lot more satisfying to destroy such a family than some gutter trash has never taken it easy.

oh oyp comment section, you so crazy.

Holy reimu tits, a hundred bucks? You people are crazy, it's a lot cheaper to just raise your won happy yukkuri family ad then destroy it.

I imagine there is a certain joy in the power of walking into the life of a family that has no idea who you are and destroying it as opposed to simply betraying a family you raised yourself.
Also it would depend on the interpretation of how long it takes Yukkuri to be born and grow. Have these Yukkuri been living for weeks? Months? Years?
In any case I would assume that the author's intent was to establish it as expensive compared to just stomping some gutter trash but economically smart compared to raising your own to torture.

I noticed that myself.
I would have dated it the original day I started the comic, but that's just me.
