There ARE tertiaries. Some of the translators are, have no clue who the characters are. Most notably the guy who wrote in the margin "I don't know who this is, she is probably from touhou" in that Tewi x Reisen doujin

Oh, I wasn't being sarcastic either. If he prefers DoDonPachi to Touhou, it's probably not because of the scoring system. (Though Ketsui it's more than possible.) So it's gotta be the difficulty, and Lunatic Touhou has a very nice difficulty pace.

Well I meant any of the hard ones that I enjoy. Ketsui, DDP, DOJ. Ketsui's is the worst, you have to no bomb/no miss 1-5 and that's just the beginning. I have no plans or expectations to be able to do that.

I enjoy the scoring in DOJ Black Label (BL specifically) as well, but I'm never going to put in the time to fully chain each stage. The most I'll aim for is like 100 million.
