You even get a line out of whats-his-face, er, fuckface-with-shotgun-that-guards-Tracer-Tongs-compound-door about it if you kill him and a slightly different one if you just kick his ass.

It's okay. Not as fun as the first one because lots of shit was removed and hacking minigame breaks the game. Story too, compared to DX1 with it's clusterfuck of multiple conspiracies and ton of characters, feels really short and underwhelming.

That feel when I was replaying Deus EX a few weeks ago but forgot to save JC's brother (yet again). Felt so bad man. Maybe I should finish grabbing HR, but I know it won't be the same.

Still hoping the original creators will make their own spiritual successor to DX like they said they would.

I remember this game being too hard for me back when it was released so i've never finish it, i was stuck at the first mission.
a few month before the release of Deus ex: human revolution, someone recommended me to play Deus ex, 10 years was passed so i guess i could be better at the game now.
I finished the first mission within one hours, it was pretty enjoyable, one month later i finished the game and i can say it's really the best game i've ever played.
I enjoyed the bomb & soda joke, watched a lot of funny deus ex videos, it's like the game and the fanbase were perfect.
But here's the problem, My computer is too shitty to run the new DE and i don't have any console, i know that having a good computer is around 1000 dollar/euro
and i don't have this much money, i'm condemned to never browse /v/ or any video game website. I must live in the dark ages to avoid any information or spoiler.
Now i'm just playing Deus Ex again, maximum difficulty with stealth and melee weapon only and i'm still discovering things i've never saw before.

Jensen dies midway through the game, David Serif organized the raid that killed Adam Jensen's fiance, Pritchard is a spy from Tai Yong Medical and Taggart opposes augmentation only as a tactic to subdue the global population for MJ12. He is the final boss. The game ends with an EMP field disrupting communications across Earth and balkanizing the human species.

Next time discuss video games on /v/.

One thing i found odd was that if you knocked enemies out with the baton, they would never wake up or anything. For all intents and purposes, they were permanently dead.

I knocked the chinese girl out and dumped her body in the river, she just kept floating face down...

DXHR runs on old machines. Even on single-core CPU and AGP 8x GeForce 7600GT.
And a new PC capable of running any modern game will cost you no more than $500.

Actually, the brain implant combined with the eye implant mean that Sarif controls everything that Adam sees and hears. With his limbs cut off basically the only senses that Adam has that aren't being controlled are his sense of smell and taste, and that's not very informative.

You're stuck in a simulation from the beginning.

That Pritchard boss fight was the best. I don't understand why people complained about it. Taggart was one of the good guy. He didn't go butthurt at Jensen even though he's the one who indirectly caused his waifu to be killed.

>Russian chick

That's ANNA NAVARRE to you too.

also: Flatlander Woman, dohohohho!

DX3 seemed more like a GitS game to me. It only loosely fit in with the original story, I was expecting it to be more of a setup. Also the mechs seemed too advanced. In the original they were like Frankenstein monsters with skin stretched over machine and crudely fashioned gizmos and wires sticking out everywhere. That's why JC was a big deal: he would bring the end to that.

Jensen stopped the global EMP field at the end of the game, which killed him as well. The end result destroyed the human enhancement research and industry but still provide ample space for the Illuminati to take rein of everything.

>an actual simulation or a metal gear solid 2 simulation?
