I have no idea why, but out of the blue today I remembered Eien no Aselia. I'd only read about it a bit a while back, never actually played through it.

What am I in for, /jp/? Is it at least halfway decent as far as VNs go?

From what VNDB says it's a very good VN.
I also like the art a lot.
It'll never get translated

Pretty enjoyable if you can manage to blank your mind out to the tedium of the RPG fighting.

I can still hear their voices.

EnA is a decent VN. Solid story, mostly likeable and appealing heroines, and a mostly fun gameplay. Though the gameplay can get boring and tedious after a while.

Eventually, the combat sections feel tedious, though for me it wasn't until my 4th playthrough. I absolutely love the setting - one of my favorite fantasy settings ever. The story ranges from decent to good, depending on the route (there's several). One of the few VNs that I went out of my way to replay several times.

My biggest criticism is that the art style is completely unappealing to me. I also wish it still had the ero content intact, but that's because prefer having ero where possible.

It's one of my favorite visual adventure strategy RPG novels.

IMO Aselia is one of the finest armor moes I have ever witnessed in the history of PC and console games, anime/manga, etc.

The art is shit and so are the voices and most of the dialogue. I have no idea why people like it.

Art isn't that bad, though it isn't exactly good. But several of them are decent. Most of the voices are perfectly fine, and a handful of them are great (Kouin, Uruka, etc), even some are the best (Aselia, Tokimi, etc). Also, Wakamoto is in it. The dialogue is all mostly average, neither bad or good. It does have the occasional better ones.

My opinion is of Law.
